Funny how darker vehicles make the window tint look darker in photos. Mine is 20% on the sides and just a strip on the front. Legal limit in Fla. and still looks dark.
Looks great! This is the exact set up that I want; 20% on the sides and a 5% stip on the windshield. My night vision is too poor to do a full windshield tint.

$850 OUCH! - I just tinted my upper windshield tonight. My Pre-cut nano-ceramic tint came in today. I went with 20% for the front 2 windows (35% is legal). I ordered 35% for all rear (factory dyed windows). This is the exact same thing I did to my Atlas Blue AWD XL a few months back. I will install all 5 windows tomorrow.
FYI...I paid $60 for all the Nano-ceramic pre-cut tint. Obviously saving a ton of $$.
Here is where I ordered my tint. (They also have pre-cut Nano-Carbon tint for about 1/2 the price).
Have an awesome day! 🤟

Curious as to why you tinted the rear windows...and why you tinted them at different percentages?

I put a 70% ceramic film on the windshield and 20% film on both front windows but left the rears alone because of the factory tint.

Understand that the factory tint does nothing for IR and UV but for me it was the windshield and front windows that needed the film.

Regardless - looks great and I am a huge believer in the front windshield film. At 70% you cannot even tell it is applied unless really looking but it makes a world of difference for heat and really takes the edge off of these early morning sunrises.

I am debating putting the window tint on the top 6" of the windshield, but I have found the factory tint to be satisfactory.

I put 20% on the front because I like it a little darker than the 35% legal limit (in AZ). I did 35% in back because if you add the 35% film to the factory dyed windows it comes out to very close to 20% looking all the way around. I did the exact same tint percentages to my Blue AWD Mav a few months back and it came out perfect in my opinion. I also wanted the uv & heat blocking capabilities in the rear as well as the front. I think next time I will try tinting the entire front windshield. I have never attempted to do that before. 🤟

I have CIR20 on the sides and back, CIR70 on full windshield and CIR5 as an 8" windshield strip. Man I wish we could get away with those prices in our shop! If I paid for my tint, it would have been $550. Glad I tint for a living...

Well tint was not the reason UV and IR heat was. My dermatologist had heart to heat with me, most my issue are windshield time related . The IR heat is big thing in Florida. this was $850
Yup, huge difference in comfort.

I had never tinted the fronts of a car before. I did the same percentage as the rears.
The truck stays noticeably cooler inside, don’t notice any night vision loss, and I can’t help but believe it slightly increases mpg since the AC isn’t working as hard to cool the interior.

I personally think vehicles look better with the side glass tinted the same.

Yep the ceramic is expensive. $850.00 for the Mac and $800.00 for the Bronco. It does make a significant difference and it's worth the coin.

For those of you that had the windshield tinted - I've always been apprehensive to have the windshield done simply because I want a perfectly clear windshield with NO imperfections. Do you guys notice any visual clarity lost at all because of the windshield tint?
