Dealer Stole Parts!!! (or misplaced some)

Two weeks or so after dealer completed oil change, I looked under the truck for the first time.

The aerodynamic / splash guard is missing!!!

So I'm taking a poll:

Chew the dealership out on Monday and demand a replacement?

Or

With all the hokey pokey engine fire shenanigans and flimsy felt paper construction, consider myself better off without it. Will make future oil changes NOT done at this dealer much easier.

I really don't know how to feel about this.

Those shields are good for making the vehicle more aerodynamic and keeping dirt from spraying up.

I'd personally want it on there.

I did my first oil change today and told my wife if you took this car to a Jiffy-lube they would leave that cover off. Looks like I was right. Lazy oil change jockeys are gonna take the lazy/EZ way out.

I had some transmission work done on my explorer, when it was time to do it’s oil change, I found out my Fumoto valve was missing. The dealer has taken good care of me that I let it slide, sleazy mechanic or maybe he lost it

I would rather have it on too. Up here in Wisconsin, that underside gets hammered..

Who knows, maybe they found it later and put it "back in stock"...

Think about how long you've had your truck and how clean the underside still looks. It won't stay looking clean like that without the shield for long.

call them up and say "Dude, where's my shields" and give them a chance to do the right thing. They need to replace them either way.

Just go to dealership and tell them they forgot it, let them fix it
