This is spurred by a post in the Ford Maverick Hybrid Facebook page. What conveniences would you like to see. I know some can be accomplished by with after market products but I am just one of those types who would rather not bother with anything complicated.
1. Better designed key fob. The buttons stick up too high and I've activated the alarm a couple of times with it in my pocket.
2. Ability to lower windows from remote or fob. This is especially helpful when the truck is sitting out in the hot sun for a long period of time.
3. A USB port near the mirror for plugging in dashcams.
4. Ability to change some of the defaults such as drive mode.
5. Locking glovebox and/or center console.

Feel free to add yours. Lets hope Ford notices and incorporates these either in future models or upgrades to the presents one.

-60/40 split bench (can’t use the storage with a car seat)
-The ability to remotely put the windows down
- when the cars in drive and all passengers are buckled in that the seatbelt display goes away immediately. Not an hr later
-would like a oil temp gauge and/or battery temp gauge but not a big deal
-better plastics inside. Love the design but wish it wasn’t so cheap like aka scratches.
-while I’m at it, Carlink mirror available to add as an option. Dumb that the lariat doesn’t even come with it

I feel like I have been down this road before, wishing on a dream thread but a 60/40 removable rear seat would be great!

1. I wish they got rid of the panic button entirely. Useless, and just there to accidently go off.
2. The ability is there on models with 1-touch windows, just needs to be unlocked with FORSCAN. Easy add for Ford.
4. Agree, tired of the button smashing every time I start
5. They do have a locking safe for the console or rear seat as an option.

60/40 would be great so I don't have to clear the entire seat to get to one section
And plastics would be nice. They shouldn't permanently scuff from a shoe.

Cooled seat, or at least a vent in the back to direct air to the rear passenger
And I would love front bumper sensors. The nose is too high to get a good gauge of how close I am.

  • Ventilated front seats with actual leather for the Lariat Lux packages
  • Memory drivers seat
  • Probably a rear vent of some sort as a crowd pleaser. Not that hard to push one through the center console section.
  • A real 8" subwoofer for the B&O sound system.
  • A rear window defroster.
  • Auto dimming mirror with homelink (I have no use for homelink but many others do).
  • Newest Sync version
  • Front parking sensors

  • Vented seats.
  • Seat memory (annoying to have to reset everything when my daughter drives).
  • A little more sensitive detection of hands on wheel (I've had it give me the warning with both hands firmly on wheel)
  • More control over information on instrument display.
  • Larger infotainment display.
  • Grocery hooks on the bottom of the rear seat.

Echo all of those things... especially on the Lariat Trim.
