To BAP or not to BAP

I ordered a 24 Lariat Hybrid with very few options, as I know the Hybrid is a big constraint, but I am going to use this to flat-tow, so it's my only option. I wanted the BAP but decided not to add it as it appeared that it may be a constraint. Looking more closely, it looks like it may not make much difference with it or without it, so my question is, would you add it or leave it off?

Make much of a difference in appearance? I think it does. What color did you order your truck in?
I have it on mine 23 lariat hybrid cactus. I love the black wheels and the darken headlights and taillights. I really like the desert brown seats on the standard package. I wish there was a way just do do the outside BAP and standard inside but the black seats and black accidents inside aren’t bad. To me it was worth the $1600. Im not going to buy new rims and do all that. Would almost cost $1000 if not more for just black wheels. I hate the machine polished wheels. My 2 cents.

Mine is Oxford white and I love the look of the BAP but I'm worried it will push my order out even further.

I added the BAP to my '24 Lariat order, since I wanted the black seats. Where are you seeing that it's a constraint item, the last list showed the take rate at 8%, vs 10% availability.

I can say that I did not add it to my '22-23' rollover order when I had the chance because I feared changes would delay my order.

I wished I had got the BAP as I see how good it looks on all Mavericks.
I say add it if you want it as it seems not to hinder orders.

p.s. ... still very happy with non-BAP Alto Blue XLT interior/exterior color scheme.
I can always do my own blackout if desired - well ... except headlights as of now.

If constraint is your concern I don't think that would be an issue, as mentioned above for 2023 it was under capacity. For the Lariat it comes down to do you like the brown interior or do you wan to go monochromatic?

In the XLT, it made a huge difference to get rid of all the orange accents and darken up the easily stainable light grey interior seating. Personal opinion the 18" wheels also visually fill the wheel arch gap better. Fantastic color combo with Carbonized grey and the BAP, but I may be biased.

If you really want it and can wait, I would put it on. It will very likely delay you getting scheduled though. You can see my lack of success in my signature.

I'm the exact opposite... wish there was a way to do the BAP interior only on XLT/Lariat... hate the white panels, orange accents and buster brown bowling shoes....

I was going to order my Lariat anyway but did not like the interior colors even though they looked better in person than online. I love the black package and the black seats. The black wheels look great and don't show dirt and brake dust.

Since your getting white I like the exterior changes you get with the package but personally I like the xlt interior and wouldn't want that to change.

Mine didn't have BAP but I added most of it once here. Dechromed the taillights ($10), had the wheels painted black ($340], added some black interior surrounds ($60), blacked out the front and rear Ford emblems and surrounds ($45), put black overlays on the grille bars ($110). Still trying to decide if I want to keep the brown seats or put on the Mabett black seat covers. The brown/blue seats blend with the Navy Pier interior but not sure how well the black seats do.

I was looking at past years, so I didn't order it, but looking at 24, it may not be an issue. That's why I'm on the fence now, thinking I may add it.
