We don't know the breakdown of each of the other commodities. To be honest, all this does is tell us the number of trucks being rolled over. I doubt more than a handful get scheduled this week. But I think that also suggests ~7,146 Hybrids that can't get built with current constraints, right?
I think my dealer must be on the bottom of the pile for allocations.18,312 unscheduled hybrids
4,020 unscheduled EBs
223 Tremors unscheduled. Ford had more than enough capacity to fulfill those.
Allocations is King.
No, it will be higher than that. The 22,332 is USA orders only. The factory is also making orders for other countries (Canada, Mexico, Brazil and Argentina)But I think that also suggests ~7,146 Hybrids that can't get built with current constraints, right?
Soo essentially are we thinking that anyone with a 2024 hybrid order that is not a rollover (sorry jumped on the hype train a lil late) doesn’t stand a chance of getting built due to Ford not even having capacity to build all the 2023 rollover trucks? No, it will be higher than that. For 24, dealers know their allocation and are not taking more orders than their allocation. So all 24 orders should get built. Production numbers for 24 should be pretty high since:Soo essentially are we thinking that anyone with a 2024 hybrid order that is not a rollover (sorry jumped on the hype train a lil late) doesn’t stand a chance of getting built due to Ford not even having capacity to build all the 2023 rollover trucks?
Or is there hope if a dealer had allocations available on top of their rollovers because that number doesn’t account for dealers who over ordered and won’t get all their trucks built?
Hard to understand chart but I think I figured it out. USOB must mean unscheduled something or whatever and the capacity is subtracted from that to get the difference percentage which tells us if there is leftover room or roll over to next year vehicles?
Thanks!
Thanks for clarifying. I guess my dealer is being naughty, when I asked them about their allocations they said they’re just submitting every order they get “because that’s what Ford would want”. Fingers crossed I was within the allocationFor 24, dealers know their allocation and are not taking more orders than their allocation. So all 24 orders should get built. Production numbers for 24 should be pretty high since:
- For 24, the factory will be running 3 shifts instead of 2 like most of 23.
- The 24 production run is scheduled to be 13 months instead of 11 month for 23
Why would a dealer not take an order even if they knew for certain it couldn't be delivered? Which they don't.For 24, dealers know their allocation and are not taking more orders than their allocation. So all 24 orders should get built. Production numbers for 24 should be pretty high since:

But there won’t be rollovers to MY25Hybrid is the highest constraint, I don’t mind if my order rolls over to MY25
If dealers did what they should have, there shouldn't need to be.But there won’t be rollovers to MY25
