That blind-spot and cross traffic alert though! Plus on XL trims it gives you power mirrors. Lane keeping is just a bonus IMO, and cheap for around five hundred smacks.
Co-Pilot360 also comes with the Full Size Spare Tire (a $115 option) on the Hybrid. I was going to order the Full Size Spare anyway so that effectively reduced the price of Co-Pilot360 downto $425.

Also having the additional safety features will hopefully reduce insurance premiums some.

So Area 51 XLT hybrids are going to be the most common Mavericks. Great, that's exactly what I ordered.....😒

I am surprised that the luxury packages have such a low take rate. A lot of Lariat owners gonna have cold butts.

One adjustment to the data that may need to be made is limiting the Lux responses to the trim. For instance, I marked "yes" to Lariat Lux and marked "no" to XLT Lux. This may skew the count and percentages based on trim. A lot of XL builds have checked "no" and "no".

I suspect that the copilot isn't higher because it really is missing some of the 'safety'/tech features that it should have (even if it cost more). I did decide to get it because I feel it is just enough, but I really would have much preferred a full tech package including adaptive cruise and lane centering. Would have paid double for those. I suspect that was left to Lariat Lux only due to chip/commodities issues for this and probably next year.

I think you are probably right - with most people ordering their own trucks, they are choosing what they want which apparently isn't black/white! I think it is partly a result of the options available which are a pretty great selection of colors overall.
I agree - it didn't seem to have the full safety package my Rav4 Prime came standard with. The Mav's just going to be my around town weekend warrior truck; no need for a partial "saftey" package for more $ (yah, I'm cheap and Ford's not making much of me). The only option I needed (as opposed to wanted) was the trailer hitch, which for $100 was a true no-brainer instead of triple that afterwards. But the best thing is that Ford decided to make them to order, with exactly what you want without having to buy packages with a bunch of stuff you don't, so kudos to them.

That is one reason I have never liked leather (or leather like) seats. In hot weather they hold heat and in cold weather they hold cold. Also unlike cloth seats they don't breath so if you wear shorts your legs stick.

Cmon Texas, those are rookie numbers! Lets pump those up!

Speaking of rookies, c'mon, copilot is a no-brainer. Why are people skipping it?

Not surprised the hybrid is hot, but this has to be one of the very few vehicles for which white and black have such low take rates, as those are the most popular colors in general. Wondering if the blue interior has a lot to do with that, or just the fact that people are ordering instead of just a dealer buying white and black vehicles as neutral and people settling for them.
So many new vehicles are limited to white, 50 shades of gray, and black nowadays, especially lower trim levels. Ford is offering real colors and I'm guessing that given more choices, buyers are gravitating to them.

Yea not getting the trailer hitch would be the most rookie mistake in my opinion. Even if you do not plan on towing, the hitch gives you a lot of accessory options ( ones that are particularly useful on short bed trucks) down the road. You can still add the tow hitch aftermarket, but it will cost you 3-4 times as much as the stock unit.

Also, correct me if I'm wrong, but I think if you order the truck without the hitch, the stock bumper would have to be modified or changed out to fit a hitch.

I’d have to look at the numbers but how is the percentage of steelies higher than that of XLs? I’m guessing people grabbed the wrong option when filling out the form or the default should update in the form when selecting the different trims

It's a little shocking that heated seats aren't standard on the Lariat anyway

Nearly everyone around here has a black truck. It’s nice to see some different colors!

I guess I was also surprised how few people ordered black, that usually is a popular color for many cars but it seems people want their Maverick to stand out from the crowd :)
Look at the three states with the highest order numbers. I really don't want to get into my truck and die. And the heated seats here are as useless as a guidance counselor at Bishop Sycamore

I’ve made it this far without it I don’t see any reason to get it. My current daily is a lot bigger and only has cruise control so in my case copilot feels like a waste of money.
Lack of lane discipline is a cultural right.

True but blind spot I would never use because I’m used to checking. Cross traffic alert I wouldn’t use much because I live in a rural area. Lane keeping would just end up pissing me off. For me that stuff doesn’t have much of an use. But if I was in the city all the time I could see the benefit.
