My dealer did the same when I ordered in October. I said ok after that went and called another to see what they was doing. They told me MSRP told my dealer I am canning then and going someplace else. They called me back with MSRP.This is AMAZING, very cool, thank you!
One of our nearby dealers is adding its own $3000 package to ALL their Fords, one of those protection for everything that most of us would never willingly choose. I point this out to ask if you have any stats on dealer forced price add-ons for these sales.
Where I am (in Georgia) we are seeing a variable "dealer fee" of $700 to $800, and sometimes above that an "internet offer", which funnily (is that a word?) is the increase above MSRP in addition to all the other increases.
Hopefully they put that in writing. If not call Ford Customer Service apparently they're cracking down on this stuff because it's blowing back on them. We signed a formal order and that's what the price is SUPPOSED to be. My dealer didn't play that game, luckily, and I hope yours honors what they said. But I'd still get it in writing and have Ford Customer Services number plugged into my phone, oh wait I doMy dealer did the same when I ordered in October. I did and the manager said he does not want getting fired over it. I do know at that dealership they cleared house for the issues they was having. Also brought you websites that have bad acting dealers just to drive in a point. I said I also wanted signed just he is not around when it come in.Hopefully they put that in writing. My Wife LOVES Her XLT AWD and I'm sure whatever version you're getting will be everything you hoped ut would be.
You are right. Ours went there first as well. We're making up for that by Mexico sending all of our NC trucks to Illinois to hang out before they come to us.![]()
That sucks. I hope they get it to you soon.Good luck with that date. Mine was built on 11/16 and had an expected delivery of 12/15. Mine is sitting in a rail yard in New Orleans waiting on a truck to pick it up and bring it to the dealership in New Orleans.
It's a good thing you got your order in. Did you get a confirmation? I don't remember the date, but Ford said the 2022 was sold out, and orders for the 2023 will begin in August.I'm not all that interested in data on trucks still in process. What I'd most like to see is data on completed orders. From that I feel I might have a more realistic idea of how long it might take for delivery vs. just reading through individual comments.
I haven't ordered yet, so I'm just curious to know if I'd be able to expect delivery in four months, six months, nine, twelve, or whatever.
An added bonus would be seeing a breakdown of that same data sorted by dealers that have had the quickest turnaround.
thanks that helps. I ordered I July 6th.I ordered a hybrid first edition (San Diego, CA) on June 28th. My build is in-progress right now but not yet complete. Got my window sticker last week. Hopefully this gives you some idea of your timing![]()
Just got my "shipped" notification this morning. The estimated delivery date is 2/2 - 2/8. Hoping it may not be that long since Hermosillo is not that far from San Diego.thanks that helps. I ordered I July 6th.
Congrats. October order for my xlt hybrid so will be lucky to see mine by summerJust got my "shipped" notification this morning. The estimated delivery date is 2/2 - 2/8. Hoping it may not be that long since Hermosillo is not that far from San Diego.
I got the confirmation email yesterday...barely made it before the cutoff date. It's a good thing you got your order in. Did you get a confirmation? I don't remember the date, but Ford said the 2022 was sold out, and orders for the 2023 will begin in August.
