What's the difference anyway. Look, if I wanted a vehicle that was designed and built in the USA with a US-made engine and transmission, I would have bought a Honda Ridgeline.

As in, what’s turning?

Probably, the crankshaft MFGing has been moved to the US throwing the content majority source to the US.

Same here, or from anyone, for that matter. It would be a fascinating plot twist. It would add more drama and intrigue to the story to keep everyone hooked. Especially as the chronology for recall 23S27 indicates Ford is convinced that the manufacturing issues for this engine at CHEP were resolved by September 1, 2022, it's almost 10 months later, and we haven't heard a specific US engine plant named.

But alas, dear Babylonians, for it seems not meant to be. We just have to go back to our boring old CHEP-sourced engines. Sigh.

I would never buy a Ridgeline. I have hated them since day one, and still do.

I saw the thread but that was just a guys findings. No technical data to back it up. Thinking more of an engineers answers.
