The only one to insist that all of these engines are now being built in the US, with some bizarre connection to the plant that builds Escapes/Corsairs even for engines going into Mavericks. But could provide no evidence of this nonsensical arrangement, and everyone who has provided any proof shows the stickers are just wrong. The engines are still built in Mexico at CHEP.

Please people. The 2.5 ice is not the engine in the hybrid. It is more a big ass battery charger and to assist in power when needed. The electric motor and ecvt is the engine that they referenced on the sticker

You need to check your information a little closer. The electric motor works like a power adder or can motivate the vehicle under the right circumstances.
