On my first major road trip from Detroit through the Rockies with my ‘22 Hybrid xlt…. I have noticed a wobble as I approach 80 mph. Not in the steering wheel, dealer tells me the tires and alignment look fine, but there have been “a lot of complaints to the hotline”. The infotainment system has twice stopped charging and synching both the usb and usb-c ports after about 3 hours of use.Dealer downloaded update, since then, the whole system crashed once. Glitches be damned, I love this vehicle, but curious if anyone else has has these issues.

The Maverick is light, not super aerodynamic, and has smallish wheels/tires. Don't expect it to be super stable at high speeds. I feel it too above 70. Nowhere near as stable as my previous cars.

Don't drive 80.

Might be fine at 81, 82, 83 mph.

But avoid 88 mph at all cost, otherwise you're going to see some serious shit.

I sadly have to drive 80 occasionally to not be run over and I have had no issues with my hybrid at those speeds. Maybe get a second opinion and have them drive it.

Don't drive 80 mph solves one problem.
See you in the right lane😂😂😂 (except here in Hawaii max speed is 60 and never followed and right lane is passing lane😡)

Hey there! If you send over a DM with your VIN and Ford dealer info, I can look into your concerns on my end.

80mph in my awd is smooth enough that I have hit that speed while keeping up with traffic and didn’t immediately notice.

for infotainment cable issues - I did have the same problem after 6 hours or so, but after the leaving the phone unplugged for an hour or two of driving with my wife navigating, it worked fine when we tried plugging it in again. I need to keep a spare (cold) cable in the car to test a hypothesis.

For the infotainment: get a high quality USB cable. Some cables are only rated for charging and barely just, which will cause issues with your phone auto program.

This is absolute overkill, but a Thunderbolt 4 cable will pretty much ensure the bottleneck between phone and truck is not the cable:

Appreciate the link, I am thinking that it is more than just the cable as there were 2 different cables (one usb and one usb-c) to two different phones that failed simultaneously.

I too just returned to central FL from Yellowstone, traveling 80-85 most of the time and even when tire pressure dropped to 29 psi, I had no issues - just a smooth ride.

Just a tad under 7000 miles round trip and overall I got 39.1 mpg.

Update…dealer suggested a “load alignment” smoothed it out quite a bit.
