Also I wonder if all the electromagnetic fields going on under the hood will interfere with electronics.

A lot of INSANELY FAST rotating magnets close to wires and sensors are bound to induce random currents sometimes.

It's mind boggling it works as well as it does.

Here is todays update. Dealer reached out the tech has had it in the bay all day and even drove it around a bunch. No issues been running fine. I asked about pulling the codes and he said they aren’t able to review the history and they looking into if it’s issue with truck or issues with their scanning tool/ software. He asked if he could keep the truck for awhile to keep working on it and I said of course I have extra vehicles. I will say so far my dealer has been great and communicating with me and seems like the are really trying. I just hope they find something or else every time I drive it I will be wondering if it’s going to act up.

If the coolant reservoirs were full, it may be a sensor error, bad wire, or yes, even an air bubble.
Or bad electric water pump. Should likely be a PID for a tach on that as it appears to utilize three wires.

Definitely mind boggling. The magnets are somewhat isolated to the internal portion of the trans. I suppose since magnetic hysteresis equates to torque the gearset should be nonmagnetic to reduce the resistance. Where are all the electrons coming from that the magnetic field is pushing around. Maybe from so called dark energy?? Is the maverick a mini flux capacitor?🤷

Hi there, I'd be happy to look into your Maverick concerns on my end. Will you send us a message with your VIN and dealership info? I can look into things on my end.
Not to hijack the thread but a related issue on this incident ... Hey @Ford Motor Company while you are at it, could you also address "how to "mechanically" shift from "P" - to - "N' with a dead Maverick Hybrid that has no 12v power available and the vehicle is inoperative". As you can see from this customer experience, a dead HYBRID maverick needs the ability to be mechanically (a.k.a. "manually") shifted from P to N so that it can be pushed/ rolled out of a compromised position. This is a SAFETY issue that FOMOCO needs to provide/ publish a procedure on how to tackle the issue.

Does the hybrid not use the same hidden latch/cord to the upper right of the shift knob under the phone/whatever tray that the Ecoboost has ?

I believe that is just for the manual parking brake release. If the vehicle is completely dead whether it be an EB or Hybrid you must have an external 12v power supply to put the vehicle in neutral.
