Hello all, an update.. my Maverick had a complete system reset and the various PCM and BCM recalls applied. No issues at all since. Looks like the recalls fixed this inherent Power Loss miscommunication issue between the Hybrid engine and Gas engine. Raising to Ford Corporate was a good decision and they did a lot of followup with myself and to the dealer to ensure the Maverick was fixed… the issue does appear out of nowhere every 3 months or 2,000 miles, (first incident was March 2024 16,000 miles, June 2024 18,000 miles) so we will see in September or October when i hit 20,000 miles if this power failure comes back.

Well isn't this a hoot?!?!?!? Same thing happened to my Maverick bought new in July 2024! Mine is gas, non hybrid. Took it in for normal 5000 mile oil change. Dealer said nothing they could do because the code cleared after turned off and back on. Say what? Codes may go away after a restart. But codes don't just delete from the PCM. Clearly this is a known issue with these trucks. First post I have read here was back in early 2022. Come on Ford, fix this known issue! Now driving almost fine, no codes, but when coming to a stop the transmission makes a clunking sound when it downshifts.
