Hybrid Maverick constantly clicking, clunking, switches sounds

I have the hybrid and it is doing the same thing. It is very disturbing trying to rest inside the car even with the engine off, and open and close the door so everything shut off. The truck keeps on talking . It is annoying since I don't understand what it is trying to say.

Mine does it too. Funny I never heard my Hyundai Sonata Hybrid make any such noises

Well I am glad it is not just me. I planned on sleeping in it when we go on our fishing trips. Note to self....bring the Bose noise canceling head phones.

I can't wait to finally know what these ticking and knockings sounds are coming from and why...I give it a few more years of cooperative ownership before we finally know the truth.

Maverick and many vehicles have "retained power" which keeps certain circuits on after you shut off your vehicle- radio keeps playing, power windows still work- plus the vehicle is reading various settings and levels. Eventually it shuts down these circuits to limit battery drain. That would be my guess on the hybrid or the ecoboost.

My 2023 maverick does it also. It seems quite busy under the hood. My 2017 fusion hybrid made similar sounds. Once when I left it sit for a few weeks, I did get a message that that activity was shut off to preserve battery life.

It almost sounds like electric doors unlock and lock superfast mutiple times and clunk one time underhood. Weird to think it might do this all night or something. So that’s what that sound is.
I thought it only happened when the key fob came near the truck, but I thought I heard it clicking even when I didn’t have the fob on me.

I’ll quit talking to it when it’s in the garage. I’ll go back to talking to myself.

My '23 hybrid does this also, however, this is our 4th hybrid, ( two Hondas and one Toyota ) and none of them did, or do it.

yes, I've gone into the garage after the truck has been off for an hour or so and it just starts making relay and motor noises (and the key is in the house).
Very strange, it's a wonder the battery doesn't die. (but....I guess a lot do)
