Hybrid Maverick constantly clicking, clunking, switches sounds

yes, I've gone into the garage after the truck has been off for an hour or so and it just starts making relay and motor noises (and the key is in the house).
Very strange, it's a wonder the battery doesn't die. (but....I guess a lot do)

It does, that is a ongoing issue with first year and some second year hybrid Maverick.

Absolutely normal for a hybrid. Our '22 Maverick did it from the beginning and being a novice to this technology, it threw me at first as well. Just ignore it and enjoy the ride.

If mine starts blinking out some kind of freaky Morse code from the signal bulbs I’m gonna sh*t myself.

It does that to communicate with other vehicles, and the robots on the assembly line. Robots ask the truck to "blink twice if your brake shoes are installed correctly".

That gave me a thought. Is it just the trucks with sensors and/or camera for adaptive cruise ect. that do it? Only hybrids??

I have the hybrid and it is doing the same thing. It is very disturbing trying to rest inside the car even with the engine off, and open and close the door so everything shut off. The truck keeps on talking . It is annoying since I don't understand what it is trying to say.

I think it’s morse code in Spanish but I don’t know either so I can’t figure it out so I just let it do it.

My 2023 maverick does it also. It seems quite busy under the hood. My 2017 fusion hybrid made similar sounds. Once when I left it sit for a few weeks, I did get a message that that activity was shut off to preserve battery life.

I knew about all the relays resetting, but why do you have to reset drive mode(eco-reg drive-sport). I use "eco", but I always have to reselect it when starting-sometimes I forget. And how do you get rid of the orange warnings/ding from the insta-key-"your reaching your preset speed limit", "you have reached your 70 mph limit". It is so disruptive. As a retired military aircrewman, when I hear/see the limits, I'm immediately looking for an engine fire or loss of hydraulics or flight control system.

I was inside of a home that's being framed so no trusses yet. I was behind a wall where I couldn't see the truck and vice versa. So to add more to the story, they will just keep on clicking even if we're not "around". Kind of like answering about the tree falling in the forest scenario.
