I gotta agree with others who have said it makes more sense for Ford to sit this week out, wait for the drama of June 2nd and June 5th cancellations because of no covp to play out.

I don't know that waiting will help anything. Seems like more bad news every week.

What does everyone expect with this June 2nd deadline for confirming COVP process?

Why? They could still schedule orders that are COVP.

Most dealerships have already used up their monthly allocation.

Well, besides it being a non normal week for a big batch of scheduling, having done production scheduling before, (admittedly a long time ago, different industry), it's what I would do. I'd want a completely clean slate, with any non covp'd orders removed from my table, out of my system. Sure, I'm certain Fords system is capable of sorting those out, you'd hope, but as a scheduler if I knew some of that drama was going to be happening , this isn't a week I'd want to put together a schedule. I'd wait for that smoke to clear.

Well, To tell you the truth I was surprised to see that there was going to a be scheduling date this week with that in the balance, but when I saw a 6-1 scheduling date for a months worth I thought ok must be going to be as usual.
