I was a draft avoider, didn't want to go to Nam but the Navy had other plans for me. They kept me for 4 years nearly to the day, and they let me out just two days after the Paris Peace Accords was signed. But I guess this is supposed to be a Maverick discussion, right? So, here's a picture of the hitch area cover I installed yesterday.Welcome home also, brother! Maybe not me but some who came after me. Was in country 69-70, 1/505 inf 82nd Airborne for 6 months, then 1st Logistical Command 12 months. Stayed an extra 6 months so I would not have to serve stateside. My "attitude" toward not career soldiers but "lifers" might have been an issue stateside due to the "lifer" E-6 and Warrant I seriously clashed with while in Vietnam
Now to find something to stick in the hole.
