Hopfully a future '23 Hybrid owner. I wanted to see what types of boats everyone is pulling with their hybrid. I have a small jon boat currently, but someday would like to upgrade to a boat similar to a Tracker 175 twx.

Wish there was some more info on this. I have a 22 Hybrid and interested in getting a 15-17 fishing boat. My biggest concern is getting it out of the water with just the FWD and if it'll have the traction to pull it up a boat ramp.

A "15-17 fishing boat" being towed by a hybrid with a 2,000 pound limit? And that's not even counting driver, passengers, and payload, which may subtract from available weight for towing. For example, an XL has a GCWR of 2,336 pounds, and higher trims have less.

Shouldn't be a problem, I have been pulling boats & jetskis up all kinds of launches with FWD cars since the 80's. For one year in that time frame I had to use a RWD pickup & that didn't work very well.

That looks like a pretty big motor for that boat, it must really move across the lake.

So I ended up picking up a 16.5ft fishing boat a couple days ago and wanted to report back about towing it with the hybrid. New specs for the boat listed it about 700-800lbs, so loaded and with the trailer, I'm guessing about 1000lbs. Well within hybrid tow limits. Using the tow mode on my XLT showed about 25mpg over 125 miles. It definitely feels the extra weight but it tows nicely and had no issues. Pulled the boat out of the water on less than ideal ramps with no issues as well. Wouldn't tow across the country with it, but looking forward to exploring some lakes with 100miles or so.

Looks good! I can't imagine how many 10's of thousands of those 16' Classics they've sold over the years.

I was advised against using my Maverick to tow my boat. So mine lives in a marina year round

I do tow my dinghy for my boat around as well as my jet ski, the AWD does the boat ramps well

Nice combo. Also helps that your boat is filled with air, right?

I tow my 17 ft boat that weighs 1650 lbs empty with my XLT hybrid to our local lake which is less than 10 miles from home. Fully loaded with equipment, supplies and gas it probably slightly

over the 2k maximum. The truck pulls without issue.
