Welcome home also, brother! Maybe not me but some who came after me. Was in country 69-70, 1/505 inf 82nd Airborne for 6 months, then 1st Logistical Command 12 months. Stayed an extra 6 months so I would not have to serve stateside. My "attitude" toward not career soldiers but "lifers" might have been an issue stateside due to the "lifer" E-6 and Warrant I seriously clashed with while in Vietnam

I was a draft avoider, didn't want to go to Nam but the Navy had other plans for me. They kept me for 4 years nearly to the day, and they let me out just two days after the Paris Peace Accords was signed. But I guess this is supposed to be a Maverick discussion, right? So, here's a picture of the hitch area cover I installed yesterday.

Now to find something to stick in the hole.

Although I didn't "actively" try to avoid the draft I was thinking I was not going to be because everyone I went with to get our physical had already been, and I hadn't, but ....
Anyway, is it removable to get to the pin hole???

From pictures others have supplied, the "pin hole" is fully accessible aft of the bumper - looks easy to access.

The cover doesn't affect functionality to the best of my knowledge.

Pin hole is about 1-1/2" further out from the cover.

Diode Dynamics light, works great and comes out in less than 1 minute but I'm lazy. Bike rack is in minimum 3 times a week summertime and trailer few time a month. I'm gonna use the harness to trigger some rigid reverse lights from my old truck.
This would be great for someone who does not use the hitch.
