The camera functions on all trims. It is used for the automatic emergency braking and auto-highbeams which are standard equipment.Excellent tutorial. I see your vehicle has co-pilot 360. I ordered my mirror and was expecting to wire it the same way; however, my XLT does not have co-pilot 360. I do have the forward camera as I understand all XLTs have the camera but the feature is not enabled. Does anyone believe this to be the case. I want to avoid running the power from the fuse panel
I bought on ebay. had to wait until price and model was right.Anyone find this still for sale anywhere recently? Looks like both links are discontinued![]()
I did the same today. I think some post mentioning you must have copilot 360 to wire it completely via the dome lights is not accurate. All seem to have the front side cameras and I found the tutorial to work for my ride. Installed it in about an hour taking my time to avoid rattles. It is a great mirror: especially for the money.i wired mine to the lights in the upper console. IIRC there is a post about it
Go to your local KIa dealers web site you should be able to find it.Anyone find this still for sale anywhere recently? Looks like both links are discontinued![]()
Thanks for posting! When I bought mine (only thing I bought pre-delivery), it seemed to go in and out of stock. Just a little patience is required. Mine was almost the same exact price with shipping. Ford should have made this standard, at least with LUX packages.$21.27 shipped was the cheapest I could find it

That's the same one I bought. My buddy gave me the link. He hooked his up and it works fine. Run both of the power wires to a switched circuit... especially if you park outside your garage ever. You don't want someone breaking into your truck and instantly gaining access to your garage. Besides, if you connect it like it recommends, that little green light stays on all the time for no good reason.Just purchased this for under $20 for anyone else interested. This seems to be a pretty generic gentex mirror that comes standard on numerous vehicles. Auto-dimming, homelink, compass.

After I purchased it, they sent me an email wanting to verify my (KIA) VIN. I simply responded that I did not have it, but made a statement that I was aware that the item was non-returnable and I took responsibility. That seemed to make them happy, and my mirror came a few days later.Thank you for the link! I'll buy it now.
Thanks for the heads up. I'll do the same if they ask me for it.After I purchased it, they sent me an email wanting to verify my (KIA) VIN. Is it? ...and did they have a notice saying "Please provide VIN number or no parts shipped" when you ordered? If anyone is looking for this and found the original links saying "discontinued" like I did, it appears to be back in stock at a new link.
