Thank you Carlitos. I do have the Amp and Sub blue wire connected to fuse 6 and have seen the amp shut on/off based on the ignition. This was the first thing I changed. I’m still hunting.

I haven't pulled the trigger yet. I had to take a pause after upgrading the stereo. I have a pesky parasitic draw I need to resolve before adding one but it is still on my Christmas list.

In you setup, did you connect both the power wires from the Kia mirror to the postive connection on your drivers side mirror? I also do not want to have homelink active when the car is off but not clear if I must connect both of those wires to power. Thx

Thank you for the reply Gary. I may have to raise this when I take in the truck for service. I used Forscan to reset the codes but they just return the next time the car is turned on. I assume it is a true open circuit but odd behavior for the DTC. Thx.

Did you end up solving this issue? I installed a kicker key 200.4, using the existing speaker wires to the rear speakers and now get the same DTS on speakers 3 and 4. The speakers appear to work perfectly fine. I'm concerned about any open circuit and potential parasitic draw on the battery...

In my kit 11, it came with a separate power wire and fuse. I am running that directly off the battery as I am for the HS10. The kit I purchased is the harness only. It did have the 12v blue wire included but connects to the head unit. it is not separate like the power and ground.
