The EBs were supposed to be high build capacity with low order numbers, yet here we are hoping that we can get scheduled in June - 9 months after ordering.

They EcoBoost delay makes no sense to me... they must be building a ton of fleet, but why delay the retail orders if you don't have to.

Is it to late to upgrade xlt with the luxury package? I've seen a number of hybrid xlts with luxury packages getting delivered. The tow hitch seems to get priority on that package as opposed to just ordering the hitch which is constrained. Maybe they will build it then?

The 25,191 vehicles produced in March is near the plant capacity for 2 shifts and over 60% of them are Bronco Sports. They probably wanted to build up a good supply on dealer lots since they make more on them than the Mav.

I would think they will now start shifting that BS capacity to Maverick EBs.

Ford has 1 more Thursday to schedule my eb lariat with no constans after 17+ months of waiting or I'm done!! I'll be looking at other options!! Can't wait any longer!!!

The silver lining is the longer it takes for my Maverick, the bigger down payment I can save up. I’ll keep telling myself that.

They sure seem to take a lot of vacation in Mexico! Seems like this is 3 down weeks in a row!

This is exactly where I was on March 16 - original order Nov 1, 2021, and that was my end-of-my-rope date. No email that day, throwing in the towel and buying a used SUV. Hopefully this works out well for as it (finally) did me.

You are absolutely correct. I have family who works at the Hermosillo plant and they confirmed the plant is down all week for Semana Santa (Holy Week). I was originally scheduled 4/17 but got pushed to 4/22.

My cousin told me that they are planning on opening the plant on the Saturdays of April to catch up on orders due to this weeks closure/maintenance.

my 22 order was never COVP’d by the dealer…
My 23 order is still nothing…

plans are changing and a vehicle is in my very near future one way or another…

I hope so! I'm over 6 months now for an ecoboost. I know that's nothing compared to some here... but in the normal course of the auto industry- ridiculous.

i thought this too and talked to my dealer in feb and they advised me not too as I was close and also (and this is me as a non ford person trying to get right). The price guarantee since we did the Covid or cosip something is tied to the overall power train . If I switched from hybrid to eco boost, no price guarantee and it was sorta to the end of line for the allocation of those. When the initial plan came out I ordered an Xlt hybrid even though I really wanted a lariat cause the numbers quoted increased my odds and bammo I am in build now.
