Thank you for that idea. My instrument cluster went blank out of the blue today while driving. When it happened I thought this is a huge bummer. I’m going to have to go to the dealership to get this fixed and it my main transportation to work, definitely was frustrating. I I was able to search...
The Ford website tracker said the truck shipped on 9/6 and so I called the salesperson up and asked should I get my financing in order and he said not to do anything because it usually takes a couple of month to get to their dealership.
I plugged in my driving mileage of 25k miles a year and I was saving $96 a month. And I bought a 2023 so I haven’t had to pay a premium for the hybrid. I’ll take that.
I like the cover and its low profile and reasonable price, where did you end up putting the drain lines on the Maverick? I saw in a review about something with the middle section could be lifted. How did you handle that? Did they come up with a fix to prevent access?
Looks like it just might get built in 2023
⏰ I didnt get an email, I received a phone call and a text from my dealer)

Im in the same boat. Basic XLT with the trailer hitch. My dealer said if i take the hitch off my order it could put me at the back of the line. But it seems like I’m not even in line right now.
And the starting price for the base ranger is $32,500. I don’t know how ford is going to stay in business when the small vehicles are costing so much. I would have figured they would have realized this with Maverick and it’s high demand. Crazy
I like the green color of the Rivian but it’s so far out of my price range that it is not a car for the average working Joe like me. I’ll take the Maverick, practicality wins!
Well, maybe with the 2024 model year coming up, there may be other options besides the Ford Maverick to choose from, Chevy, Ram, Toyota. And Hyundai may come out with a hybrid Santa Cruz.
My brother, is receiving his XLT hybrid this week and just received an email yesterday for the build starting in June for the 3 hybrid xl's for his business fleet.
Me, I got nada, so if I don't get a build date this year, I'll just buy one of his fleet trucks. Not optimal but I can't pay...
As of today no email regarding start date. Looks like I'll be placing an order for a 2024 since I ordered a hybrid xlt with a trailer hitch. Maybe they will offer the Maverick in a shade of green or brown in 2024 model year.
Is it to late to upgrade xlt with the luxury package? I've seen a number of hybrid xlts with luxury packages getting delivered. The tow hitch seems to get priority on that package as opposed to just ordering the hitch which is constrained. Maybe they will build it then?
