Has anyone else seen this issue? A few weeks ago I received an alert on my dash that I had a tire pressure monitoring fault (hybrid). Upon getting to work I checked the pressure of all the tires and all checked out and the app indicated this as well. The next time I got into the car to start up, the indicator had disappeared. This happened maybe 2 more times, and each time the indicator evaentually went out...until now, it is on all the time now. I spoke to my ford dealer today and the tech indicated it was probably an electrical system issue and I would have to bring it in for diagnosis which may take some time. I asked him if he has ever seen this and he said no, which doesn't give me great confidence that they know what to do. I was hoping if anyone else had this issue and what was done to correct the issue.

Thanks!

Well, your tires are overinflated. That may be one problem. Unless you are accounting for them being in the 40s while hot. What do they read after sitting all night in your garage or driveway?

Yeah exactly, I'm not sure why the OP thinks there is a failure in the system when the system is reporting an over inflation issue. Unless when the OP checked his tires at work and the pressure at the valve was reading something other than what the system is reporting?

When I got a flat tire many months ago, I was driving on my ‘full size’ spare for a week ( due to no tires in stock in my area) I was getting many tires warnings due to the tires size difference and even a sensor error oh and a AWD disabled error . When I finally got the tire replaced , the warning went away!

Benefit of the doubt would say that they took the screenshot after driving on the freeway for 45 minutes and it was a 90 degree day. My Google skills tell me the pressure can go up about 5 PSI from driving (seems like a very liberal number as I have never seen an increase of 5 PSI from driving) , and/or about 1 PSI for each 10 degrees of ambient temp rise. Perhaps they were filled to 35 PSI at 6 AM on a rainy morning and it is now 90 and sunny in Atlanta.

Then maybe yours is broken and the OPs is functioning properly? 🤔

Sorry for resurrecting a dormant post but did you ever get this diagnosed or repaired?

Anyone else have this issue? Just had the fault pop up on my hybrid.

I've had mine at 42 (44 max. on sidewall) and never received any notification.

When I picked mine up at the dealership, the tires were all inflated to 45PSI, according to the TPI screen. I drove it it 1600 miles home that way and never got a TPI warning.

I took mine into the dealership and it's been corrected. I think they just replaced the sensor, not sure, but I haven't seen the issue since.

Carrying on TPMS issues, I got this last night along with a trailer lighting error issue? I didn't get apic of that. Here is the failure to communicate light: (my truck really isn't dirty, it's my phones dirty Lense!)

Dealer said it will be until May to have an electrical guy look at it. Great start to ownership. It could be worse.

That's the blind spot warning indicator, not a "failure to communicate" icon. So I wouldn't be surprised if you have some issue with the rear wire harness.

Much appreciated. I initially got the low pressure light, then this illuminated as well. I'll look into it. I also got a trailer wiring harness error detection notification. I was pulling a 300# trailer in Tow Haul mode which disables part of the CP360 as I understand.

I looked on page 19 for the icons but found the icon on page 242 after you corrected me! It says to clean the sensors? I'll look at it. I thank you for steering me straight!

Problem solved:

Fix, go to settings and enable blind spot to function. Apparently when it was in "trailer" mode, it disables the blind spot. If you shut the truck off, it defaults to the last setting (which was in trailer mode) when starting again except it will not put it in Trailer mode, eco, sport....
