My wife calls me this morning. The Truck pops up a warning that there is a TPMS sensor error. I hop on the app and get the system warning and see that the driver's rear tire is reading a pressure of "--" Wife checks the tire, all is good. She continues her journey and now it is showing tire pressure of "0" She got to her location, tire is still full, and she goes in to do her shopping. My guess is that I have a faulty TPMS Sensor.
My question is, when I click on the warning on the app, it says What should I do?
"Accessories such as video equipment, anti-theft alarm, Cell Phone charger, or power supply that were recently added to the vehicle may be the cause of this fault. The fault may go away with moving or removing the equipment." What frequency do the TPMS sensors transmit that a cell phone charger can interfere with the TPMS sensors? Now, my guess would be that if I am only having the issue with the one sensor, then it is probably not my cell phone jamming the reception, but has anyone actually had an issue with a phone charger affecting the TPMS system?
