Also there are people posting and reading this from many countries and each one has its own monetary policy and interest rates leading to what ever local rate of inflation you have been blessed with.
I am doing well and enjoying my new maverick. I hope things improve for this person.
I hope Ford can ramp up Maverick production this summer as they have planed and everyone can get a maverick. The more Mavericks the better aftermarket support we will have and maybe less unhappy posts.
Its really everyones fault in 90% of the world the people are the government and their lifestyles are self feeding loops. With the exception of the bottom 25% of the world you kindof get what you deserve. The bottom gets nothing and is told to pray.

They are going to start stock orders for Tremors to build after they finish the few remaining retail orders.
They have not opened any other model stock orders yet. Maybe this summer they may allow some new EB orders if they fulfilled the EB retail orders.

There is always some fool that will reward dealers charging market adjustment pricing. Whether it is $1,000 over, $5,000 or $12,500. If NOBODY paid over MSRP then they would stop. But there will always be someone who will.

No offense intended at all, seriously. But can I ask what you do for work? One one side we have a well established, award winning, high volume Ford dealer. What do we have over here on the other side? Ya know, just trying to weigh the sources of these two opposing viewpoints.

I don’t think the $12,500 is that high. At my dealership they said they’d ADM a Tremor minimum $15k and are putting an ADM on used Mavs of $10k (hybrid) and $5-8k for EB. I’m the first Tremor at the dealership and it’s scheduled to arrive first week of April. I already bought a used Ranger but am considering buying the Tremor just to flip it so the dealership doesn’t make the money on me walking away from it. Unfortunately I couldn’t wait for the Tremor to be built and I caught a sweet spot in the used market when they were raising interest rates and stocks were starting to replenish.
My dealer told me on Tremors and Raptors in any model the dealerships are allowed to ADM without penalty from FoMoCo. I gave up my Lightning order to be able to get the Tremor at MSRP and they still haven’t sold that truck.
It’s really too bad because I’d love for someone to be able to get my truck at msrp but the dealership won’t let that happen. And if people really are willing and able to pay a $12,500 markup then I’d be a fool to walk away from the truck and not flip it since I have the means to do so. Does it suck for y’all who are waiting to get built or even place an order? It sure does.
And what I really wanted 2 years ago when I placed my Lightning order was the Pro they promised at $39k that I could option nicely, get the tax rebates and walk away with an out of pocket sweet truck for $40k net. Im pretty damn happy with my ‘21 ranger xlt as it’s all the truck I could want with a bit better options than the Maverick and every bit the off roader I wanted for only $2500 more than the Maverick Tremor.

Sellers don't set market prices, buyers do. There are more good things to the truck than cost obviously. For me, number one is fitting in the garage and in parking lots.
At that markup, I'll literally buy something else. I could get a very nice Explorer for the same price at my dealership today.

I saw $15,315 markup on one yesterday, and it was $39,585 sticker!

I'm more into capitalism but with a special secret organization that goes around and sneaks up on people and kicks em in the nuts when they do extra greedy things like add on a $15,000 markup. Just a nice hard crotch shot, it could come at work, at the grocery store, really any open to the public space and only when you are not doing something that could be dangerous if kicked in the nuts.
