My 2022 maverick lariat sunroof leaks and badly fogs up the windows and lots of condensation on sunroof .
also sensor in windshield fogs up and causes lane control lights to come on.
anyone having issues? May need to put head up to the glass to see leaks at seal.
Dealer said they had another one in for another repair but tested it ,wet down that one and it was leaking .
Been at the dealer since 1/13/23 now 2/24/23 they tore the interior apart .
Now that it is raining they told me yesterday that it was not dripping but went into today and still dripping but not fogging up but I suspect it is because the interior is all apart. Told them put it back together. Also said they would do a smoke test weeks ago but never did.will post pictures soon.

That is why I didn't get a sun roof. One thing they all do is leak, might be soon might be 10 years down the road but they all leak.

That is weird. Something is causing the air temp to be different enough to cause that. There are other places air can come in, like the cab vent behind/under the seat. Since you have the hybrid, you have the battery under the seat, could it be overheating?
There are entry ways for wires on the firewall.

Agreed. Had one on a Jeep Patriot. Once I fixed the leak with a bit of adjusting, we never opened it again. I will never have one again.

moon roof isn't for everyone. I've always had one for each car I've owned. Have the same condensation on the windshield as OP but not attributed to the leak from the moonroof but I think probably due to a couple of mousies had steamy sex in my maverick the night prior. Who knows...

Excess moisture caused by a water leak in the cabin is causing it. It has nothing to do with temperature differentials.

Exactly, everyone that I've owned over the years either leaked or had mechanical issues. I never ordered them, they just happened to be on the vehicles from the dealer lot back in the day. The last one was in a 2016-2017? Tahoe, about 100 miles after the warranty was over it started pouring water in, carried it to Chevy dealer, GM would not cover it under warranty. Promptly traded it in on our current Expedition, which has one half the length of the dang roof (again what was available on the lot), 35K miles now so far so good. But I know the day will come, not a matter of IF but WHEN.

I have had two vehicles with them, luckily I never had issues, but only has them a short time.

A friend bought a Flex with the Vista roof, hers leaked day one. She was mad at me because my Flex didn't have the Vista roof.

Thanks for your input.
I bought the truck to tow behind my rv so have not driven it much only 260 miles,so at this point sits in the driveway. After multible times fogging up after it rained I took it in on 1/13/23 ,got it back on 1/16/23 it rained over that weekend but I am sure they left it inside .Drove it home that afternoon all dry but parked in the driveway later rained for 3 or so hours once again dripping and fogged up call dealer left message. The next monring it was still all fogged up ,if I was to drive it I would of needed wipe the inside down. Still driving other car. Got home about 2:30 sunny all day window still had condination. I washed and keep it wet for about 1/1/2 hours to see if would fog up it did, bought it back to dealer been there ever since.

I would have the dealer contact the district representative from Ford. I would be worried about it majorly. The amount of condensation in your photos makes me wondering what all that water is damaging let alone it being a breeding ground for black mold.

Hope you get the issue resolved under warrantee. My wife's 2019 Rav4 has never leaked and my MAV has not leaked and is 4 months young. Think there is always a risk that an isolated issue happens. Had a shudder 3 times, twice severe and once moderate between 500-630 miles and disappeared. Will see if it ever returns and feel bad you are dealing with a chronic issue.
