Thanks for your input.
Hope it gets figured out.

The other thing to have them check is the drain tubes. Maybe they are slightly plugged or something? Make sure they route the water all the way out.

My 2022 maverick lariat sunroof leaks and badly fogs up the windows and lots of condensation on sunroof .
also sensor in windshield fogs up and causes lane control lights to come on.
anyone having issues? May need to put head up to the glass to see leaks at seal.
Dealer said they had another one in for another repair but tested it ,wet down that one and it was leaking .
Been at the dealer since 1/13/23 now 2/24/23 they tore the interior apart .
Now that it is raining they told me yesterday that it was not dripping but went into today and still dripping but not fogging up but I suspect it is because the interior is all apart. Told them put it back together. Also said they would do a smoke test weeks ago but never did.will post pictures soon.
Hi there! Would you send us a private message with your VIN and dealership name and location? I’d like to look into this concern on my end.

My 2022 Hot Pepper Lariat is currently torn down and at the dealership since last week. They cannot find the leak. My leak looks like your photos only I don’t have a sunroof.

I spoke with a mold specialist today and he said it is impossible to remediate a vehicle with potential mold/spore damage.

The dealer will not check for mold. They will only find the leak, ‘repair’ it, and send you on your way. I expected more for an almost $40,000 truck.

I would have the dealer contact the district representative from Ford. I would be worried about it majorly. The amount of condensation in your photos makes me wondering what all that water is damaging let alone it being a breeding ground for black mold.
I have the same problem with my 2022 Hot Pepper Lariat only I don’t have a sunroof. My interior looks just like the original poster.

The water in my truck was running down the back window, the back seats were wet, all the windows were dripping, including the mats. I’ve had it 15 months and it only has 1294 miles on it so it’s not like I’m driving it to death.

Mine has been at the dealership since last week. They are trying to find the leak so it is torn down. I spoke with a mold specialist and he said it is impossible to remediate mold/spores in a vehicle with this bad of a leak.

As of yesterday my dealership will not check for mold. Ford Corporate will not help. All they will do is file a complaint about the dealer.

All this for the tidy sum of $39,500!

have a 22 XLT gas model with sunroof. Always kept in garage. However, went out of town last week and left outside overnight. Next morning had moisture on inside windows and sunroof. cannot find any water entering cab and not sure what is causing it. I am glad to know I am not the only one having problem with maverick. Hopefully someone will find the cause and post it.

I have had one in almost all of mine without issues, until my FE. Dealer has a third party leak company check mine and determined it was a defective glass. Go figure. It was changed and no issues since, at least sunroof leaks.

I have a 2022 Lariat (took delivery January 2022) and it leaked terribly inside during the winter of 2022.

It was raining INSIDE the cab from the top down. The dealership had it for 3 weeks before they located the leak. There was water under the carpets and mold had formed. They tore it apart from headliner to carpets.

A total nightmare! Good luck with yours.

Had a small leak a couple of months into ownership last year (22). Straight to the dealer, the drain tube was plugged. Cleared it out and not a problem since. To each their own but I love mine, and had it on several other vehicles with no issue.

I would have to dig out the repair orders for an accurate answer. By memory it was a seal up in the front area around the passenger door. Don’t quote me! 😂

Possible one of sun roof drains plugged up with leaves or debris.
