Oil leaks

I went to change my oil today and noticed the oil pan showed a sign of fresh oil leaks. I went to the dealer they found two leaks, the valve, cover and the timing cover. Both of these components were installed at the factory with silicone. The repair calls for using a gasket on the valve cover but just re-silicone in the timing cover. Looking into an extended warranty now .Area 51 hybrid 20,000 miles, repairs covered under warranty.
