I used to own a Chevy LUV back in the early 70's. I liked that truck a lot. I expect to like my Maverick a lot as well so I'm calling it my "New LUV" - until my wife (my real love) decides I need to change it!

I was thinking with my wife what we will call our new Maverik when it arrives. We have been throwing around the ones below but I really think they are too cliché. Please provide your names so we can have more options for our new baby truck .

Tanglefoot. . . The F150 we trading in on the Maverick was called Whiskey. Tanglefoot is cheap whiskey, so Tanglefoot it is.

I don’t fit Fords demographics. I’m 70 and have owned too many F150 4x4s to count. It was just time to downsize to something my wife could get into easily and the great mpg is an added bonus.
