My dealer has the local Line-X dealer come and do the SIBL at the dealership. Cost was $799 and rolled in to final purchase price. Lifetime warranty paperwork from Line-X was left in the truck. It was probably $200 more expensive than if I'd gone directly to Line-X. Line-X did a beautiful job (as always), removing all the accessories, plugging *all* holes, removing cubby covers, and masking everything as needed.

Can of herculiner is $93 shipped from Amazon. I'm going down that route. I have ziebart, linex, more companies around that are $500 plus
I don’t have to time or will to do it myself. But seems like sibl is in the 5-700 range.

One downside with the factory SIBL is you don't really know the quality of the workmanship. There was a post here earlier mentioning that the factory SIBL had not masked off threaded holes and the poster was having issues chasing out the threads. Then, of course, there was that little earlier problem that resulted in a recall. It is a good deal with the cargo rails however.

Never owned a truck before and actually did not realize Ford removed the SIBL from the Lariat Lux package when I reordered 22 to 23. How much do dealers usually charge? I've heard of Line X but not sure what I should get and how much they are. I am going to ask my dealer now that my maverick is actually made but I don't want to be ripped off.
The dealer I ordered from suggested deleting it to prevent derailing my order. They said they used a local installer that charged five dollars more and they could get it done on delivery. My advice is to check around and check quality as much as price.

Yes if you need asap and don't want to risk delay than leave it off but if you want the Ford logo it's the only way to get it. There were SIBL providers that were doing the Ford logo but got a cease and desist letter.

Had Line-X done last week at a little over $600 with tax. FWIW, they mentioned having recent Fords in with thin factory SIBL (again, their words not mine).

They did reclip my Lux package bed light harnesses backwards (easy fix) but I noticed they sprayed in the fender on the drivers side which I appreciated considering the known issues with water, road debris in that area.

After initial disappointment of the SIBL constraint, seems like it all worked out.

Dealer in Houston said $695. Line-x said standard $500. $600 typically for premium but on sale for $550. Most dealers don't do in house. Pretty sure my dealer is just taking to Line-x and keeping the mark up. Both have lifetime warranty.

Which dealer in Houston are you going through? What’s difference between standard and premium? I hope premium still on sale late Jan early feb when it’s comes in.

Dealer is Mac Haik Ford. The difference from my understanding is UV protection to prevent fading. The lady at Line-x Katy said if it goes off sale, just mention you were told at Christmas time it was on sale for $550 and they typically will honor that.

Ok thank you so much. I ordered mine from planet ford and my fathers from Helfman good to know. Not sure if my father will ever get his even if he’s 22 re order since it’s a hybrid.

Mullinax Ford , Lake Park FL gets $750. I had a local body shop do my Ranger for $500 a couple years ago. Don't know what he used but it is perfect to this day. I know he scuffed the paint everywhere he applied the bedliner for a good bond. Don't know what the factory process is. Others in the forum might know that. He did say when I picked it up that he might have to start charging more as it was very labor intensive. It's all in the prep. I think $600 to 750 is the range these days and you get what you pay for so ask what the process is. Regards

I paid around around $800 plus tax for a Rhino lining. As others have said, it can be labor intensive. The guy scuffed up the bed and cleaned it with alcohol to get good adhesion. All hardware came out of the bed and he plugged all of the holes in the bed before spaying. He also removed the tailgate and removed the equipment access panel and sprayed both separately. He did a beautiful job. I have to believe the quality is way better than I would have gotten from the factory. And, he didn't drill holes in my gas tank.

I just called Line-X and they quoted my $799. I'm on Long island. So you made out good
