Has anyone else hit 600+ MPG with their EcoBoost Maverick?

Has anyone else hit 600+ with their ecoboost. I seen some hybrids hit the mark but wasn’t sure about anyone else.

I finally made a long trip 6hrs+ and was surprised when I filled up. I normally drive in my word relaxed and no rush. Cruise control about 67/68 my daily drive is 24 miles I don’t get above 60. farm to market roads 3 stop signs and 2 stop lights.

granted I’m sure they’re fluff miles but photo is proof if someone doesn’t believe you.

Yes. Last trip I averaged 33.7 mpg. Why buy a hybrid if you will do mostly Hwy miles? Makes no sense. My ecoboost xl fwd cost 19k, I added bedliner, inverter and paid $25 out the door. Sa-weet deal!

I am starting to think the same. Ordered a Hybrid Lariat in September. I need the truck for work mostly because I drive 3k miles a month as a sales rep in Georgia and Alabama. Mostly 2 lane roads going 65mph or highway going 75mph. My dealership told me it could be 6-18 month before I get the truck. Wondering if I should switch to the EB if I could get it quicker and still get 30mpg. Currently drive a 4runner 4wd and have always driven 4wd or AWD vehicles. That was my only hesitation with getting the hybrid.

You're getting 34 mpg at the most. I get 44. That extra 10 mpg adds up. You'll agree when gas prices go up again.
Plus, I didn't want a turbocharged engine. But you're happy, I'm happy so that's all that matters.

My '22 EcoBoost XL got 26-27 around town and 33-34 on the highway.

My FWD XLT got 33+ so I saw 600 mile range on the cluster
My AWD Lariat gets 28ish so I only will see 500 mile range (sometimes)
I drive the Lariat much differently than I did the XLT which might explain the difference

I have a 75 mile a day commute mostly freeway miles 60-70mph so I stay in the ecoboost sweet spot

Under those driving conditions I would get the eco. Plus the cost of after warranty repairs on the Atkinson cycle engine vs the EB can be substantial. I have seen 32 in my 4k several times. I just wish I could run a complete tank just once on the interstate without a trailer.

Might have to make the switch. Wonder how much quicker I would get it? Damn I wish someone would do an actual hwy mpg test with the Tremor. That was what I originally wanted but decided to make the responsible decision since I drive so much.

Damn mpgs like that is why I ordered it. I know people have waited a year plus, but man I hope it gets better. I just can't wait 12+ months. My dealer had me put down $500 and basically won't give it back if I cancel so I'm basically locked in.

As gas prices get reasonable again, it definitely doesn't make sense to go hybrid if you're mostly highway driving.
My hybrid managed 38 mpg all highway going to Sedona and back to Phoenix last weekend, but that's pretty negligable when a gallon of regular is back around $3.

Yeah but for my job I get a base car allowance and then around .20 a mile for driving. The better mpgs, the more I take home of my total car allowance. I'm even considering the new Prius. It actually looks pretty good. Ordered the Mav because I miss having a truck bed. Used to have a Tacoma before my 4Runner.

22 XLT AWD 4K ECO I drive 150 miles round trip to work about 25% city, and the rest highway through the mountain with a limited access / two lane mixture. 32.6 MPG Range 452.2 showing 72 to Empty. Fillup said my next tank is 538 Estimated range. I'll take it

I don't think 600 miles is attainable on an Ecoboost without really working for it and disturbing traffic. My highest Mpg in my Ecoboost AWD w/4k was 37mpg ( I do have bigger All terrains with heavy wheels so maybe i could of gotten better with stock wheels). It was hella work and involved a lot of coasting, drafting behind trucks and staying in the right lane. Pretty much drove 10 miles on city streets for either end of this trip the rest was highway.

65ish mph top speed and wind was on my tail end end at about 5-10mph. Speed limit was ranged from 55-70mph. Never again. Now my daily Highway MPG is steady at 29ish mpg and city driving brings it down to 25MPG for a lifetime average over 25k miles.
