Thefordguy, not Tim personally but his assistant would not tell me what their allocations are. I have no way to

thefordguy’s assistant would not share with me what their allotment is. I have no way of predicting the probability of getting my hybrid.
not sure why that would be maybe they didn’t have it on hand.

he mentions his allocation count almost every single week on stream

We waited 15 months to get our Lucid Air. Delivered last Friday evening. Picked up by Lucid this morning to fix a large variety of software issues. Been waiting 13 months for our Maverick. Oddly, more excited to get the Maverick than I was the Lucid. We saw a Maverick over the weekend driving in front of us. Just increases the desire to get one on the rare occasions when we see one. Hopefully this year.

I ordered an F150 Powerboost Hybrid in 2021. After almost a year of waiting, I was stomping my feet & blustering about walking away from my order. Boy am I incredibly glad that I did not. The truck FINALLY was delivered & it is even better than I had expected it to be. I promise you, for me, it was well worth the long wait.

By the way, I am waiting on a hybrid Maverick now, trying hard to be patient. I expect it to be worth the wait too. Good Luck to all of you who are waiting with me!

Is it just me, or are these September new order people ten times more weepy than the original 2022 order people?
Not weepy. I get I am being snarky. But I have a friend that ordered the same day same time with a different Atlanta dealer and they got a VIN Dec 19th.

Get used to that. Probably 10,000 posts on this forum with the same story. I truly believe that the Ford ordering system does have a logical method to it. Just one that it is too complex for humans to understand.

Of course, I am definitely in the minority on that belief. :):)

Not weepy...whiny.

Do you think Ford can build 85,000 vehicles in 3 months on a shared assembly line?

Since I ordered Ecoboost and they say they can produce about 7000-8000 total per month I figured I would get mine in 10 months or less.

I am actually optimistic. I found out today my vehicle is in pre-production which only indicates that the order is clean with no issues. Nothing more, but it is the first positive thing I have heard in 3 1/2 months so hell I will take it and run with it. I went into this expecting this process to take a year. So far I am right on schedule the way I see it. 😁

I'm just going to hope to get one this year and live fine with whatever outcome happens. If I don't then I'll get a Colorado or something.

I'm willing to wait. I've been following the drama via this forum since Jan 2022 when I decided I wanted a Maverick. I was aware and tracked every change. The issue is I don't think the dealer I picked is getting any allocations. They basically said they haven't sold any Mavericks. See the pic.

This is me just complaining I was stupid and picked the wrong dealer.

Their allocation is not just based upon Maverick sales. It's based upon sales over the last 12 months of Mavericks, Escapes, Rangers and Bronco Sports combined.

Do you think they should have taken that many orders ?

One thing you rarely hear about is that regional allocations is also a big factor in determining how many allocations a dealer gets. How the regional allocation work is even more of a mystery to me than dealer allocations.

I am also in Atlanta and I have only seen two Mavericks "in the wild" so I suspect that the regional allocations for Atlanta may be very low and as far as I can tell other dealers are not getting many of them either. It sounds like Maverick sightings in places like Texas and California are much higher possibly because it is easier to ship Mavericks there from Mexico.

Do you? Ford can and has built well over 85k vehicles in 3 months. You are apparently unaware of the volume of the vehicles that Ford builds.

I have no hope of getting a Maverick. I ordered a Lariat with Lux, but removed the bedliner and bed cover. I picked the dealer as they are huge in Atlanta and don't add $$$$. But it looks like they only do big $$ Fords. Found out a couple weeks ago they haven't sold many of them. So, I expect they are not getting any allocations. Which means I'm screwed. The dealer is Jim Ellis Ford. I am calling them out as I wasn't told any of this when I contacted them 3 months before Sept 15th.

Sad that people are subjected to this kind of stuff. Not fully blaming the dealer. Ford owns most of this.
When did you order? I've been waiting since October 2021. Watch the Ford Video Guy tonight and lean on your dealer.
