Emergency flat towing is a far cry from routine flat towing. There is a reason why Maverick EB is emergency flat tow only. It's the option of last resort. Not a feature you should ever want to need.

And I thought I was so smart ordering the hybrid in 2021 before gas got expensive. Now gas is going down I'll be getting my hybrid. And, I'll have my heated seats in time for spring. Sheesh.

You can flat tow an ecoboost Maverick. It has the manual release for it.

Read the manual…. The EB can NOT be flat towed recreationally behind a motor home. Only the hybrid can be. See page 292 in the 2023 Maverick owner’s manual.
