After much reading of this useful forum, I acquired a AWD 4k tow Lariat and also have on order a Hybrid Lux 360.

We live most often in rainy Florida and drive the interstate most often. Average speeds of traffic flow here often over 80 mph

Has anyone noted any hydroplaning on the AWD Maverick?

This forum had a post of somebody had a Hybrid hydroplaning a few times.

Looking to understand any significant hydroplaning differences between the two.

Thanks
I have a 23 Hybrid and yes it's more sensitive in hydroplaning conditions. But it's a lite weight vehicle. Keep in mind that you can water ski in bare feet if you are going fast enough.

I do not recall seeing where anyone mentioned that if you have pairs of tires with uneven tread depth the tires with the better ability to clear water and maintain contact should be in the rear to help prevent the vehicle from spinning due to front stopping and rear not.
