Nobody can tell me anything about my 2022 order… it is just “gone”…. So we ordered a 2023 from a different dealer in a different state. This dealer seems to think it will be 6 months, but who knows. We want to try again to take the motor home to Alaska but do we dare plan it or just sit and wait… ???? This will be our 4th attempt to take the trip.
I guess you are like me in one respect - wanting to pull Maverick behind motor home. We ordered ours for the same purpose. I do have a Kia Niro Hybrid SUV I put on a tow dolly behind mine, but still not a Maverick. I was able to buy a 22 EB Maverick, but it is FX4 AWD and cannot be pulled on a tow dolly as far as I know.

Sooner or later you will get it and happy travels with it and your rig when you do.

I talked to my dealer and he said that my XLT Tremor is 1 of over 200 Maverick orders that they have. My PC15 might be good since he said a lot of them are PC19. He wouldn't say how many were Tremors, Leftover 22's or Fleet Mavericks. Don't now how many allocations they have either. He is calling me back today.

Received an email from Ford at 8pm, last night. They're moving my scheduled build DATE of Dec. 23 to a build WEEK of January 2. 2023 hybrid XLT Lux.
Bill when did you receive your Vin? I'm set for production Dec 19, 2022 Didn't get email yet, maybe today?

I ordered mine because I thought I would get it for my 83rd birthday which is December 21st but I don't guess that's happening so I guess I just wait a little longer and when I get it I get it don't plan on having it too long hope I get it before I die
Oh well, be positive. If you only have it for a little while and really enjoy, let them bury you in it. LOL. Actually happened when I was young. Someone not too far from us was buried in a Cadillac.

How many orders does your dealer have? How many allocations?
He said they have about (70) 2023 maverick orders in their system. He did not specify between ecoboost and hybrid or rollover, cancelled, or new. That being said, he said he had 7 mavericks scheduled for January, but left over allocations...meaning he had more allocations available than mavericks that were actually scheduled. I think I heard Tim mention something about how his region doesn't have any more allocations, but his dealership does? Maybe that is the situation for me? I am outside of Philadelphia.

An item being on the constraint list does not have anything to do with Ford prioritizing one thing over another. Tons of orders with stand alone hitches are rolling down the line this month and scheduled to do so next month.
You are pretty naive. Do you think Ford is not in business to make money? They also prioritize the Bronco Sport over the Maverick even though they are made on the same line at the same factory.

Just because it is constrained does not mean they are not making them. It just means they are making less percentage than their orders.

Agreed...I sat at priority 2 with a VIN for nearly 5 months before my order was cancelled. Now as a 2023 reorder, I'm still at priority 2, just no VIN now. Feel like priority code is absolutely meaningless.
I wonder what kind of allocation numbers your dealer is getting?

What is this belief based on?
FordVideoGuy called this out in one of his youtube videos. Wiring for the hitch is limited and they were going to be built for packages first.
Again, this doesn't mean some standalones hitches won't be built, but it is less likely.
It's been discussed ad nauseum... i ended up removing it.

Makes sense. Otherwise we would see FX4 on the constraint list.

FX4 and 4K are even missing from Ford's memo from today. As is the hitch, now that I think about it...

The scheduling memo?
Yep. Interesting that the hitch is a major constraint but Ford isn't actually asking dealers to do something about it. They are focusing on the XL and the hybrid.
