Personally I removed the spray in liner and the cover but I left the hitch. The liner and cover can be done after market close to same cost but the prices I have seen on hitch is about 5 times the $105 build cost and I worry DIY install would not look very clean. I added hitch to my chevy travers, it was easy and maybe cost me $250 but it has a removable panel that came on the bumper to expose/hide the hitch so very clean install.
We are supposed to getting moved to front of the line with a priority 2, theoretically we should be able to have a
I wouldn't say you are stupid but you should remove it and get it done after you get the vehicle. It will take longer to get your build date if you leave it in your build. IMHO.So am I stupid to add my SIBL to my 2023 cancelled re-order XL hybrid?
I was going to delete the hitch, but the aftermarket are 3X the Ford cost, labeled as "difficult" installation and the Wiring is a pain. For $100 that's a bargain option. My son, who has the maverick on order, took one look at his "now 13 month long Temporary Camry-ick" trailer wiring kit and it's still in the package.I would argue and say that there's no point including something that can easily be done afterwards
The hitch is only a possible constraint if you are not a MY22 to MY23 rollover.I was going to delete the hitch, but the aftermarket are 3X the Ford cost, labeled as "difficult" installation and the Wiring is a pain. This is interesting because from everything posted here, Lariat Lux rollovers are still locked. I wonder how yours got to a 10.Just got an email from FORD confirming my MY23 Lariat Luxury Pkg roll-over order. Called FORD marketing, and was able to confirm that the order is 'Unscheduled-Clean' and at priority code 10. There were some things incorrect in the email they sent (like the color - originally had Velocity Blue which FORD defaulted to Atlas Blue) and no CoPilot 360 Assist. So I called my dealer and confirmed that they had indeed gotten access to the order, but they had not made the changes I requested including a change to Alto Blue. Sales guy assured me that they are addressing the changes, but just wanted to get the order into the FORD system. They will send me a revised build sheet to that we are sure everyone is on the same page with options and color. PHEW!! At least the order has been processed by the dealer and confirmed by FORD. Interestingly, the sales guy said no new paper work is needed - which concerns me, because they could not see the Private Offer in Smart Vincent. For @fordvideoguy - is there a delay in applying the Private Offer after the order is entered by the dealer?
First of all, is yours a canceled 22 order? Making it had a vin and scheduled build date like we are referring to in this thread? If so, Ford is entering this orders not your dealer. If you had a scheduled order that was canceled you would have a private offer because they only scheduled order that had a COVP approval.Just got an email from FORD confirming my MY23 Lariat Luxury Pkg roll-over order. Now if you had a unscheduled 22 order then the dealer needed to put in a new 23 order before it closed in September. If you did not have an approval COVP approval, you would not receive a private offer.
I am facing a similar situation.First of all, is yours a canceled 22 order? Making it had a vin and scheduled build date like we are referring to in this thread? Yeah, that is a bit different than your earlier:I think they should make the orders they can based upon the parts available.
If they were “fair” they’d make sure all the canceled with VIN would be scheduled before the new order 23s
Dunno man. I wasn’t as elaborate before and it doesn’t really matter. Ford isn’t trying to be “fair” and anyone acting like they will be is missing the pointYeah, that is a bit different than your earlier:
Please read posts more carefully before adding bad info. The conversation you jumped into was specifically about Lariats.Just a Lowly XL with no constraints....
Who was acting like they will be fair?Ford isn’t trying to be “fair” and anyone acting like they will be is missing the point
Comments previous to mine saying they’d probably put em all at priority 2 on the same date etc were postulating that it would be “fair” if ford did that. I certainly never thought they were gonna try and be “fair”Who was acting like they will be fair?
