At the dealership right now. Still can't fix my Lariat Lux order. But I am confident we are on the same page finally.

And as my car is finished, I asked and they checked again. Still no ability to change a converted Lariat LUX order as of 10 minutes ago.

If it a 2023 order already scheduled for a build week, nothing. If it is unscheduled 2023 order, I would remove the bedliner and hitch. They will hold up your order or take longer to schedule. Both can be added later. I'm not saying you have to just that if you remove them it will schedule faster if you do.

Its a previously scheduled 22 that was cancelled and converted to MY23 order at Priority 10. So still not positive on what to remove while we have the chance.

I call Customer Service every Friday and today's call wasn't super helpful BUT when I asked for advice on removing options that might be constrained, they said that if they don't have the Spray in liner or hitch that they would still build it without those things... Which to me is exactly what they should do....

Hard to know what to do.

Thanks for the reply nklem. I noticed the specs under your post mention an XL. It was my understanding that the Lariats with Lux were the issue. Is your information outdated or were the XL's with certain packages still locked as well after the initial "unlocking"?
They tried to do it yesterday and were locked from making any changes. Today they were able to change to a priority 10.

I feel like I've had to walk my dealer through the process and was happy to get a reply today with a new MY23 sales order. Sales rep added back on the rear sliding window which I had removed very early on and also deleted the rear outlet from my original build which I want. Waiting on corrections now, what a journey!

Rep also stated that I "may" be eligible for a private offer. Can't you just check Smart Vincent and tell me I'm confirmed for $2750?!?

Personally I removed the spray in liner and the cover but I left the hitch. The liner and cover can be done after market close to same cost but the prices I have seen on hitch is about 5 times the $105 build cost and I worry DIY install would not look very clean. I added hitch to my chevy travers, it was easy and maybe cost me $250 but it has a removable panel that came on the bumper to expose/hide the hitch so very clean install.

We are supposed to getting moved to front of the line with a priority 2, theoretically we should be able to have almost anything on the order and eventually get built.

So am I stupid to add my SIBL to my 2023 cancelled re-order XL hybrid?

Just got done with my dealer. After 2 weeks of trying to convince them that I'm getting rolled over they have since the light. They told me they got paper work this morning from Ford about changing my order. Dropped spray in bedliner, rail system, and remote start. They told me they will do the spray in bedliner (line x) for same price as Ford. They also said I get a private offer of 2750. Priority code 10. God is good

If they were “fair” they’d make sure all the canceled with VIN would be scheduled before the new order 23s but that not happening
So if they cannot build some of the cancelled with VINs due to constraints, they should just shut the factory down until the parts come in? Not build trucks they can?

What? They’ve schedule new ‘23 orders that are more complex than mine. That’s what I mean by being “fair”. They’d build mine before that order.

You also seem to have missed my point. I was replying to someone else talking about them waiting until 11/31 to move canceled orders into priority 2 to maintain some sort of fairness and I was saying they haven’t acted “fairly”. I think they should make the orders they can based upon the parts available.
