Tim @fordvideoguy said Ford is making an announcement today. Anyone hear anything yet? I assume it has something to do with the lies/screw-ups in August regarding September builds which have now become the mythical January 9 builds. I am a bit snarky today—have to go buy three new tires to get through the Winter since my October 5 should have been delivered date for my base hybrid XL with no constraint options ( which was ordered in October, 2021) won’t get here until February, March, April…

Maybe they'll announce that anyone who had their order "balanced out" without the customer's consent and/or due to a dealer's inability or refusal to get it done in the 7-day window they provided in September will get the same courtesy of a rollover to 2023 that they're giving to those who had 2022 orders scheduled, but not built.

I won't hold my breath, but it would be nice since as it stands now, I'm not getting my order I placed in January.

I get better service at McDonald's for a $10 combo where they employ high school dropouts than I've got from the so-called professionals at Ford where the cheapest vehicle they offer is in excess of $20,000.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say it'll be more vague "we're working on it" horseshit, and zero answers. I keep checking in here though, because I get more from a bunch of guys on a forum than I get from Ford.

Well, maybe they at least will clarify what issue they are addressing even if they don't provide answers.

I asked Tim on Facebook a couple hours ago and he said that the memo is supposed to come out at 4pm central.

That is absolutely true. I'd have been entirely in the dark about when I needed to convert the 2022 to a 2023 order in September if it wasn't for this forum, because Ford nor my dealer didn't communicate ANYTHING to me about it.

It didn't do me any good, though, because even after I called my dealer and told them to do it, they didn't! When I called them last week, they said my 2022 would still be built even though they have no build week and no VIN assigned. When I called Ford Customer Service on the same day, they said it absolutely will not be built, and I missed that 7-day window they so graciously provided to get it converted.

Just wait one more day until Tuesday's @fordvideoguy live stream where he will talk about whatever Ford announces.

A lot of us are fed up. It's certain Ford doesn't hire people with insight. It's like Karin Jean-Pierre is running the Ford show with their word salad.

I was told 5pm today EST. They wait until the last minute. I hate to say it but I told everyone that when they say late October, they mean October 31st at close of business. Many years of learning their timelines by the phrases they use.

I dunno... most of the time I get a drive-thru order from McD they've gotten it wrong, the fries are cold and the cheeseburger always looks a lot less impressive than the pic on the menu.

Oh, McDonald's gets it wrong plenty...but if you go there 20 times, you might get it right 6-7 times.

Ford, meanwhile, has got the same order wrong several times on several different levels. At least when I go to McDonald's I have a sandwich when the transaction is done...can't say the same for Fraud...er...I mean Ford.

If they had good news they wouldn’t wait till the last possible second. And at end of month… at close of stock market.
Prep for massive Ford level screw over. The one true thing Ford is famous for …..
