They will not give you the 2022 rates. This has me guessing that our cancelled order is going to be treated the same as someone who placed a 23MY order to replace their unscheduled 22MY order. Meaning that we will also most likely lose our original financing rates...
As someone has already mentioned, the wording makes it sound like the only changes that are allowed are compatibility changes like picking a different color if you have VB or adding the individual items that were removed from the lux package this year.
If only compatibility changes are allowed then Ford should either be honoring our financing rates that were offered to us at time of ordering, or they should be giving us a secondary private offer.
Personally, I want my truck exactly as I ordered it and have no desire to add or change anything, but if Ford is going to treat these orders as if they are 23 orders replacing unscheduled 22 orders then they need to give us every opportunity that was available to those that had the chance to reorder, meaning order a new 23 however they want to, or give us a fair compensation. (At least for the love of God, honor the finance rates, honestly that's all I care about.)
@fordvideoguy do you have any thoughts on this matter? Is this something you can reach out to the Maverick team and get an answer on?
