As far as the previewing, just the dealer gets notified of this and not the customer, correct?

I see you are fairly new to the forum. It took me over a year to get my 2022 VIN. You wont get a VIN until you get scheduled. Which won't be until after all the cancelled 2022 VIN's are built. If you are a new 2023 order you will also have to wait for all of the 2022 rollovers to be built.

All of this is subject to constraints.

There are two choices.

1. patience
2. regularly vent

Both are common in this forum.

I believe they said production, scheduling would make sense for their comment about it starting at the end of this month

I got my MY23 VIN the day I ordered. Jim Farley personally called me about it. He said he saw all my posts on this forum and was highly impressed. He said mine will be the first one built and will fly down to the Hermosillo plant and personally oversee the build, then test drive it himself and personally delivery it to me. The plant will not build anymore until after I drive it for 1,000 miles and am totally satisfied. If not, they will build me another one. After I am satisfied, they will begin production of everyone else's Mavericks, starting in alphabetical order of vehicle color options and by driver age and height. So, if you're old, small and ordered a Shadow Black, you're last in line.

I could absolutely be misremembering what I read, but I thought that since the remaining MY22s didn't rollover automatically that they all went in as "normal" MY23 orders with dealers instructed to mark them priority 10?

Your correct. unscheduled 22's did not automatically rollover. Your dealer was to place a new 23 order and give it a priority of 10 & 11 to place it in front of completely new orders. Unfortunately this was dealer dependent.

i ordered 2023 order om September 15 and my dealer gave me priority 10. I saw lot of 2023 orders were given priority code 10.
How can they differentiate from 2022 order with Priority code 10.

That’s weird, I got priority code 19 on my 23

I don't believe they can. That sir was the problem with leaving it up to the dealers.
They were supposed to give rollovers a 10 & 11 and new orders a higher number to give priority to those of us that have already waiting. In my case 14 months so far.

Obviously that didn't happen at all dealers so someone that just placed their first order in September 2022 will have the same priority as someone that has been waiting since last year.

Goods for you bad for us. One more blemish to add to our dealer only system.

Still to be seen is how Ford is going to handle those of us with 22 VIN's and build schedules when we get cancelled and we too have to move to a 23.
