I was told by my dealer a wait time of 6 months,which would mean March delivery for my order placed in September of 22.

Yeah well, it's impossible for him to predict so March might be optimistic.

Ordered a lariat January 22, rolled over to a 23 lariat, i believe in July 22.. all I have received is generated emails. Coming up on a year. I may be wrong but I was under the impression after talking to our dealer that he was in charge of rolling me over to a 23.

I wouldn't leave a dealer "in charge" of anything. Call Ford Marketing to find out your current, correct status if you have any doubts as to where you are in the process. I had to walk my dealer through every step of the process and they still failed to put my email back in after the cancellation/reorder last week.
