AAANND ...ANOTHER DEALY for my Hybrid.

Original production date....week of September 12...then October 8...then today...now December 19...CHRISTMAS WEEK...NO CONTACTS FROM THE DELARSHIP ON ANY UPDATES...I'm chasing these dates with FoMoCo Corporate Customer Service...would you want ANYTHING manufactured during Christmas or New Year's week - especially something as complicated as this truck?

The CSR also ASSUMES I'm getting a 2023 and not a 2022, which means I don't get my Velocity Blue color I ordered because THEY CHANGED THE BLUE FOR 2023....

This is really costing me money for this kind of wait. I have a 2014 Mustang convertible I was going to sell as part of the payment for my Maverick, but the value has dropped and will continue to drop the longer I wait....I ordered it in September 2021.

I heard the same thing but I figured I would try to confirm the "information" on the forum by checking with the company that is building the truck.

Sad day, when forum is right and Ford is clueless.

Dude, you're canceled. Seriously, did you miss the big news and official Ford memo last week? Contact your dealer. Hopefully you'll get re-scheduled for some point in the MY23 production cycle, but no guarantees...

The issue is I DON'T HEAR JACK SH&% from the dealer - I gave up an them and are contacting FoMoCo direct via Customer Service 800-392-3673..Sent ANOTHER email (not calling..want it in writing when I boot this up to Elena Ford, Chief Customer Experience Office.

They have a Chief CX officer??? I can only imagine what their NPS surveys look like. They might as well rename this forum mavericktruckdetractors.

What is the normal response to get when you chat with ford about a Maverick needing scheduled?

I'm in for the long haul (and wait) so i'm not getting my expectations up that mine will get scheduled anytime soon. When it does, it does.

It's getting pretty confusing with seeing new build dates, 2022's that still havent been built, December cancellations, and who knows what else will be coming on the horizon.
Ya got that correct. I'm in for the long run.

The recent Fleet news Distribution Bulletin has the MY22 balance out date as 11/22.

MY23 Job #1 also starts on 11/22. We'll see how efficient Ford's corporate is at auto-converting the December rollovers with orders as close to the originals. Changes in the luxury packages will mean a rolled over 22 won't be the exact same.

The price, financing and private offer numbers, terms and conditions are all TBA.

Customers asking, "Why me?", will remain in limbo until Ford treats them right or alienates them into an alternative vehicle solution.

I doubt you are scheduled for week of 11/21 any longer. Check with Ford customer service and get an update. My bet is you now have a December build week, which means you are canceled and will be re-entered as a 2023 order.
Yep I think you’re right calling Ford tomorrow

I contacted my sales rep at the dealership about the 23 scheduling. He said the first scheduling will be 22 orders that were converted to 23. So if anyone with a new 23 order gets scheduled let me know. Thanks

Assuming I've not missed anything in the conversation, I believe a summary of the rest of the year looks like:
10/24 - 22 Maverick
10/31 - 22 Maverick, should have info about 23 rollovers by now
11/7 - plant shutdown
11/14 - 22 Maverick? (QA run theory)
11/21 - 22 Maverick last production day?
11/22 - 22 Maverick balanced out, 23 Maverick job one starts
11/28 - 23 Maverick
12/5 - 23 Maverick
12/12 - 23 Maverick
12/19 - no info yet
12/26 - plant shutdown

There is the possibility that the week of 11/7 shutdown is when the changeover to 23 happens, that the week of 11/14 is going to be the 1 week QA run with customer orders beginning to be produced week of 11/21.

That seems likely to me, just because of the 11/7 shutdown week.

Granted, this is the Ford Maverick. Anything and everything that has to do with its scheduling is subject to apparently random changes with little or no notice. 🤣

Lots of rumors and speculation.

No one knows, not even Ford.

Today I drove past a row of new car dealerships and saw nothing but used cars.

I think things are getting worse.

I would really like to know when my Maverick will show up but that is not going to happen. The only thing for sure is a long wait and lots of complaining on the internet.

More productive would be to make a list of links to aftermarket parts suppliers.
Or post a list of people's custom Maverick builds.
Or a list of tire sizes that fit and photos of what this they look like.

The bronco sport form has a lot of really useful info posted. Kinda jealous, I hope we eventually end up with as much useful information here.
Agree but there will be some offended by the very thought. Hard to find a thread where it doesn't devolve to a trip to the wailing well where points are given for voicing the same complaint the most times.
