I am seeing now that they are starting to schedule MY23 Mavericks next week. So does that mean we MY22s that aren't built yet will be built AFTER some MY23s? That's pants on head crazy if true. @fordvideoguy any enlightenment?

If you have a VIN for your 22 you'll still get built before the 23s.

If you don't have a VIN your 22 order will NEVER be built. That's what Balanced Out means.

Then why are they scheduling 23MY starting next week when people like me have our 22MY at this point not scheduled until 11/07?

You're confusing scheduling and production. Scheduling just means they are getting the orders together to be produced at a later date. Getting their ducks in a row so to speak. If they start scheduling on Oct. 20 don't expect any '23 Mavericks being built until the end of November or early December. As usual these dates will probably change.

Did you place a 2023 order? Because they won't be able to get to all the 2022 orders, so 2022 orderers were advised to place a 2023 order as a rollover if they weren't scheduled yet.

Guarantee there will be a week of 23/22/22/23/22/23/22 type mixups on the line. But at a certain point mid november it will be 23s only from then on.

My super basic order got bumped back a week again. XLT EB, FX4, and 4k Tow. I'm still thinking it is the 4k Tow and/or hitch causing delays.

I did place a 23 order simply because I don't have confidence in my dealer that I ordered my 22 with. My 22 is supposed to be being built, but I don't have any confidence that my dealer won't pull some shady stuff once my Maverick does get to the dealer.

Probably was the 4K tow package. There was an issue with the brake controller causing the brake lights to remain on so you probably got delayed for the fix. My XLT EB, FX4 non-4K moved up three weeks from Oct 17 to Sep 26 and has now shipped and is on a rail car in Nogales, AZ from what Ford chat told me.

We have very different definitions for super basic lol
Perhaps, but that is a grand total of two options from the whole list and none of them were supposedly constraints, no CP360, no lux, no bed accessories, etc.

No, they schedule in the future. So when we say they are scheduling it means they are scheduling for production in future months. Like they may schedule this week for build date in late November, after 22 production is over.

No worries. Video of Ford getting their ducks in a row.

(1) There will be no more MY2022 "scheduled" for production in 2022 (a.k.a. "balanced out") ... if you have a VIN you'll be "produced" sometime in the (near?) future (latest MY2022 bow wave production jam is the week of 11/14/2022) ... if you don't have a MY2022 VIN - then no soup for you - hopefully you ordered a MY2023 and have a "Private Offer" to go with it.

(2) The first round of "scheduling" for MY2023 orders is planned for 20th October 2022 ... the production date when those first MY2023 orders are "scheduled" for production should coincide with, and be an indication of, when MY2022 "production" ends.

(3) "Key Constraints: FHEV" - Dont count on many HYBRIDS being scheduled for production on the first round of MY2023 scheduling.
