More accurately, you may as well get a hybrid RAV4 or CRV... because that is where the maverick is snagging market share from.

I think the "Balanced Out" means they have all the parts lined up to build everything. Not saying it isn't possible something gets pushed back, but Ford thinks it's a done deal.

No, "balanced out" means the exact opposite. It means that an order that is currently in the system that does not have a VIN is not going to be produced for the ordered MY. It is basically the same as cancelling the order but still having the order in the system (in an inactive state) for the purpose of private offers, etc.

I think we should get use to hybrid being list as constraint each week. We ordered too many. All indications are the number ordered are well off the mark where as other constrained items seemed to be much closer… again based on a sample of data shared by a few dealers.

That doesn’t mean hybrids aren’t scheduled. It means the next batch in the queue has too many hybrids and some will get skipped over in favor of EcoBoosts.

I predict hybrids ordered Thursday-Sunday will get built…. Monday and Tuesday are dicey if things don’t improve.

All EBs get built and even start appearing on dealer lots by early summer.
