Mine is locking itself all the time. Fortunately I learned the keypad code and just use that when the keys are in it. yeah, on the farm pretty routine to hop out with the keys in it while I check on something, etc. Come back a few minutes later and it’s locked.

For a farm truck it makes a lot of sense. You leave the truck at a spot to move a tractor, when someone comes back for the truck they can get in an go. No hunting around for who has the keys.
