This worked for me after Forscan settings did nothing and the directions from the manual didn't work. The 5 seconds was when the yellow airbag light goes off, so using that as a queue I started the process until the blinking red seatbelt icon. (2023 EB XLT FX4 and a 2023 Hybrid XLT)

Yeah, some of us might be odd balls, but I don’t lock my vehicles when they are parked on the farm. It’s gated and in 25 years rare is the time a stranger ventures onto the property and never (so far) with nefarious intentions. There are much softer targets.
And as I mentioned before, when...
Mine is locking itself all the time. Fortunately I learned the keypad code and just use that when the keys are in it.
yeah, on the farm pretty routine to hop out with the keys in it while I check on something, etc. Come back a few minutes later and it’s locked.
The best EVs are going to be ground up efforts, not repowering an ICE design.
If there was a ground up EV Maverick, then Yeah, I’d be interested.
however, I’m unusual.
I can charge at home
I can afford multiple vehicles so the EV would be for errands and local travel.
I have a big truck for...
In 2019 I was seriously shopping for a F350 or a RAM 3500. The RAM was the better value and optioned out the way I wanted would have been 55k. Those trucks are now 85k and we’re not talking fully loaded. My point is that I don’t think 10k incentives are going to move the needle much. 10k was...
I picked up a truck in early 2009 that was a total of 10k under MSRP with all the various incentives. We sold that truck recently for 3k under what we paid for it because there are no cheap trucks on the dealer lots.
The car market is totally nuts now. The manufacturers are printing money...
Why close the order bank if Ford told dealers not to put in anymore orders than they have allocations?
trick is hunting down dealers that have an allocation.
I have driven almost 450,000 miles in hybrids, including 200,000 in an Escape. Weather definitely plays a big role in mileage. Not just the AC, but also the overall efficiency is lower in the heat.
Wrong oil viscosity will have an impact as will tire pressure. Tire type is also important.

I have a feeling demand is going to greatly surpass supply. It might be nice to have a DIY discussion on what connectors are used, etc. if Mike is so inclined. Though I certainly have my money ready!
So Ford chat gave me a rail car number: BNSF301068 that supposedly left with my Maverick on June 30, yet the tracking mentioned something about released to the customer in AZ on May 10th…
so I’m confused… is it possible they gave me the wrong number?
For a farm truck it makes a lot of sense. You leave the truck at a spot to move a tractor, when someone comes back for the truck they can get in an go. No hunting around for who has the keys.

I had given up at 2:30 and was bugging my dealer about Monday…. They were “looking into it”
I'm thinking the same... probably no more than 10,000 get schedule for September/October. That get's real close to scheduling all the EBs but will leave 20,000 unscheduled hybrids.
Roll over hybrids will account for almost 6 months of MY24 production at the 35% hybrids rate.
I think to mess with Fold I’m going to order a 24 with all the constraints. Maybe with all the options too… a Mack Daddy Lariat. A profit wagon.
Then they can either painfully cancel it or I can down grade it.
Ford logic is difficult to follow….
They have enough rollover hybrids in the order bank for almost half a year… so they cut three color options. It’s like the purposefully want to mess with people. I know that’s not it, they have a whole color team that has to justify their existence.
