Thanks for the review links.

I just bought the TopVision unit based on the above video review.

The review put it as one of the top two and even though the cost is listed in the review as $89.99 and Amazon has it at $79.99 I was able to order it for $39 + $9.84 Priority Mail shipping. If you order more that one the price drops to $35.10 each and the second one has free shipping on it. So two for $70.20 + $9.84 Priority Mail shipping.

Battery Starter for Car, TOPVISION 2200A Peak 21800mAh Portable Car Jump Starter
Unfortunately they jacked the price for two up to $53 or they would have sold 2 more. 😡

Wow they actually jacked up the price for one from $39 to $59 and two for $53.10 each.

Looks like it must have been mispriced when I bought mine.

Yeah I think it was a boo boo. I bought one at a higher price from a different vendor with free shipping so in the end it was actually cheaper than the linked vendor. Because F that guy for not keeping his accidentally low prices.

I got a 2.0 turbo. Don't need a battery boost box

IMO, it's a sad day when owners of brand new vehicles have to purchase jump boxes/battery chargers in order to have any confidence of being able to get to and return back. My mind just can't seem to processing why this is accepted as normal for a brand new vehicle. This is nuts, something needs to be fixed. Now, got that off my chest, I'll move on now.
I don’t know about anyone else, but I for one don’t have full confidence in ANY vehicle without one of these little beauties on board. It’s just good practice, and has come in handy for me quite a few times over the years.

I have the NOCO GB50 and it works great! I had a cheap lithium jump box from Costco previously and it wasn't as powerful as the NOCO.

Topdon JS2000, got on prime day for $60. I haven't used it on a car yet, jumped my sons motorcycle easily. Used it while camping to charge 2 phones and a iPad. Very nice unit.

I don't have one of these because I don't have confidence in my vehicle. I have one of these, a spare tire, a jack, a small tool kit, and a small compressor because I don't want to be a victim. I've carried jumper cables, now a jump box, ever since I bought my first car.

I appreciate everyone providing what they have purchased. As I look to purchase my own to carry in my hybrid, what should I be looking for as a minimum peak amps? Is there another criteria I should be looking at for comparisons of makes and price?

Because the only thing needed to turn ‘ over’ is enough to power the computer and a few relays on a hybrid. Any minimum functional jump pack would work. One with a light would be helpful to place the cables in the dark. Also the type with USB battery charging built in could be helpful

A pair of jumper cables and the other car. I've only ever had a dead battery at home as both vehicles have auto lamps and I personally have never ended up with a flat battery after driving it around.

Commodore, a flat battery happened to this retired Sailor TWICE. Departed work with 2008 Ford Edge. Drove to friends home. Shut the car off. Loaded two tables in back and the battery was dead. Edge was 36 months old. Second time is with current car (still waiting on maverick for 422 days). The 2015 Ford Fiesta was driven to Myrtle Beach about two hours south of home-base. Parked overnight at hotel and battery was flat. Fiesta was 36 months old.

Exactly. The traction battery starts the ICE. If you only want it for a hybrid, you can get the smallest available.
Costco has one $15 off for $64.99 and one for $12 off for 47.99
