Truly don’t understand shipping process

As much as I love seeing people get their trucks, i’ve seen so many people getting their trucks who were built after me, so frustrating being built over a month ago and still “awaiting shipment” with reported no holds/delays and no info or anyone who can help should’ve had it by now

Could be an airbag recall issue. This was mentioned in Tim's livestream as a "stop sale" recall but Ford is still waiting on enough excess airbags to fix the ones they already installed before they flipped over to the new ones.

I doubt there is a method to the madness. Saw a guy who had the same build date as me and in the same area who got their truck the other day. I'm still waiting on shipment.

I've been wondering the same thing. Happy I have another car to drive around for the time being, but I was expecting to have received my Mav this week (last week of September) per Ford initial ETA after I was built 08/25.

Same boat buddy, all we can do is just be patient and hope that by some miracle they just show up at our respective dealers…. Hell, I’ve made it a game at this point of how close I can get on the ordertrack.app Utility on the forum to the longest “awaiting shipment” status

Yep, same here too. There is something going on with orders that were built between around 8/25 and 9/1. Mine was built on 8/30. Still awaiting shipping. I called CS today and they, as usual, had nothing they could tell me other than it was "released" and that there are no holds. I asked what "released" really meant and she had nothing other than it is sitting in a parking lot outside the factory. Don't think it's the airbag holding these up, as that was supposed to only involve those orders built before 8/2 or 8/9.

Your comment was funny. I was joking with my family this evening that if lucky I will get the record of longest time to ship. Only 22 days to go!

The complete lack of consistency and communication is what is so damn frustrating. If Ford wants to play in the "build to order" world, they need to do a much better job in this area. Or folks will quickly move toward companies that don't do this nonsense. It's almost like they are aways hiding something from you, because if you knew the truth, you'd get really pissed. As you can tell I'm getting pretty salty. I can understand most of the supply chain delays up to this point. However, after seeing many other orders, built after mine, getting shipped, delivered, and bought, is really getting to me. Wish I could just stop paying attention and wait for that surprise phone call.

hahah. i know. dealer expected me to be first hybrid they got, then they got one delivered today since mine is so behind i wasn’t the first. sad times.
