My COMBINED mileage for the last 3500 miles is 31, I do drive efficiently & most of my driving is 57-62mph. My best tank has been a little over 33 & the worst was a little over 28. FWD is rated at 1 more mpg, but in reality it will be at least 2, not a lot of difference, but a difference.
tires make a difference too. For all the people ordering XLT or Lariat and opting for biggest wheels available (or people adding larger after purchase) they are not going to be getting that extra 1 MPG over my stock XL steelie wheel equipped truck. Go with FX4 or lifted and you lose a little more mileage.

I recently installed 235/65/17 Yokohamas, and this is my trip to cottage just after install approx 57 MPH cruise control. Thats FX4 4k with 100 lbs tool chest , 2 coolers and my dog. I repeat this same trip once a week or so and always average between 31 and 32 mpg . Last week I towed my 900lb 4x8 steel trailer plus a loaded truck approx 2000lb people and cargo and got 24MPG , Im cool with that. In a week I leave on an annual trip towing an ATV plus all my gear on an 7 hour trip (2 hours on old logging roads) with a convoy of friends , 2 have 1500 gas trucks and 3 have big 2500 diesels, cant wait to compare costs at fuel stops! ;)

For those that have had an Ecoboost for at least a few months, what are your mpg on the average? Is it almost 30 ?
I'm 95% city(temporary) and sit around 19-20 mpg. sounds bad I know, but its 4 more that my 17' outback got in the same if not better conditions.

On my 3500 mile road trip i averaged 29mpg going 75-80. one leg was around 27-30 and on the way back down it was about 30-33.

Edit: in less than two weeks i move back home and will make the trip up. Should be pulling about 2500lbs in belongings and a motorcycle and plan to do 70 the whole way. Ill get those numbers for yall.

On one tank of gas (mostly highway) I got 31 mpg. I typically get 28-30 mpg.

I have had the FWD EcoBoost since July and over 3,518 miles I have averaged over 32 MPG. I don't go over the speed limit, and there are few hills on the Delmarva Peninsula. My last two tanks were over 34 MPG.
The EcoBoost feels really quick. I love it.

I drive around in Eco mode most of the time, and the majority of my driving is back and forth to work. I'm averaging 28mpg around town, and typically 30-33mpg highway going 70-75mph, but pulled an amazing 39mpg on a trip to GA recently driving in normal mode. Must have had a tailwind.

The EB has exceeded (for now anyway) my expectations. Take THAT, Honda!

I'm on Android and it's called "FillUp". Totally free and you can export the data to .csv if you're a spreadsheet nerd like me.
Another popular one is called Fuelly, which I don't think can export your data (haven't tried) BUT it does track all your fillups and whatnot PLUS has a public facing database so you can see what everyone using the app gets. Plus it is web based as well so you can pull up stuff on your PC.

Examples:
Ford Maverick Hybrid sold out, settled for Ecoboost 1663870600485

This is ALL Ford Mavericks, the bimodal distribution is hybrids on the right, ecoboosts on the left. You can filter to each engine type to get specifics.

Here are example views from my (hybrid) F150 Powerboost:

I wouldn't say you "settled" for anything - I specifically ordered a EB for the performance/simplicity factors. I think the fun you will have driving it may far outweigh the few bucks a month extra in fuel costs ;-)

I am now getting well over 30 mpg daily driving on rural roads. I have no complaints but due to the stop and go driving I have placed an order for a hybrid too. Better than I expected.

I agree on the EB. I purchase the lightest wheel and tire combo to replace the XL steel wheels. Anyone have an idea if lighter or heavier would be better on a hybrid considering the regen braking?
