Both the dealer I purchased from, the others that were competing against them, and Ford Credit directly all confirmed this for me - only remaining 2025's are eligible for cash back.
Can you provide more informatoin on the $1500 loyalty incentive? I just purchased a 2026 on Monday and talked extensively with multple dealers and Ford Motor Credit ( who I had my existing F150 loan with ) and there were no incentives for anything other than 2025 Mavericks and that is a cash...
Go drive a Hybrid and see how it compares to yours. We have a 26 hyb/awd and a 23 awd ecoboost in our family and they are both great vehicles. Neither of them is designed to be an all out performance vehichle nor for maximum efficiency - they are both (relatively) affordable utility vehicles.
Yeah, I'm sure that's what it is. The entire launch of the platform and multiple vehicles was most likely a plot to spite a small number of people who feel they should have the right to buy whatever they want, whenever they want, at manufacturer cost.
About the only thing you can be certain of is that the longer you wait, the more it's going to cost you. And that "paralysis by analysis" is a real thing ;-)
IMHO, if you aren't sure don't buy one. If you spent this much time agonizing over all the minutia, you'll probably have an equal...
I knew exactly what I was getting into from sources like this forum, and my dealer was also very clear that there were no guarantees of any kind on timeframe or even that I would get one. But it is the internet after all, so complaining is a sport for some.
Took Delivery today - EB XLT AWD + XLT LUX/4K Tow/Remote Start/Sliding Rear Window/Block Heater. Traded in our 2004 Toyota Highlander with 266K miles and got the $750 college student incentive as it will be my oldest son's vehicle.
My son drove home with my wife so I haven't even driven...
Took Delivery today - My son ended up purchasing this as his first new vehicle. Only rode home from the dealership so far so no reactions other than initially it's really nice.

1. Mileage is not a primary concern for me, if it was I'd not buy any kind of truck in the first place.
2. AWD
3. Simplicity( relative ) as compared to the Hybrid.
4. Traditional feel/sound/driving experience.
I have no doubt that I will some day ( probably sooner rather than...
My purchasing decisions are my own, what other people think about them is irrelevant to me. if they want to worry about it that's their problem, not mine. I knew full well what I was getting into when I placed the order, and I had ( like everyone else does ) the ability to opt out at...
Got my "Built" notice this morning. This is going to be my oldest son's vehicle, and coincidentally/fortunately he also just started his first full-time job as a Paramedic/Firefighter about 2 weeks ago so he will also be able to pay for it :-)
My local dealer went from having zero F150's on the lot to almost 40 since the beginning of the year. About half of them are 2022's as well so I'm guessing maybe ones that were sitting waiting for chips or other items? Bottom line, the swing back to a buyers market for most vehicles will...
Same here. Sure it's a new vehicle and has a lot of bang for the buck, but at the end of the day it's just a vehicle. There are a lot more important things to worry about IMHO.
The feasibility if flipping anything is generally based on how much effort you are willing to put into it. Carvana and others like them are in the business of flipping themselves, so of course they aren't going to give you a high price as they are going to turn right around and resell for a...
Even if you were able to get a few of the options removed, it would only reduce the overall price by maybe 10-15% at most, likely less. Seems like the real question is whether you actually want it or not - so that would be your first decision point.
If you decide to keep it, there are...
We were in need of a third vehicle and the Maverick was intended to fill that spot, but now that it will be a while it's going to be purchased by my son for himself. To fill the gap we purchased a Mazda CX-30 base. I have never owned or even considered a Mazda, but it is a really nice...
I had planned on ordering a Maverick last year but did not ( procrastination on my part ) and went ahead and pulled the trigger this year fully understanding that it might be a year before I get it, or that I might never get it.
Having said that I do have an immediate need for a vehicle...
I would agree, there are many factors that would have to be overcome if they really wanted to do it, and it would take time. But if that's what the market wants that's where they will go eventually and if they don't someone else will. In essence, the pre-order program is already a step...
Supply and demand certainly change the way we do things ;-)
As I was sitting there filling out the order, I was reminiscing with the sales guy to the "old days" of 2017 when I purchased my current F150 ( from him ). Sticker was around $53K and I paid $39,500. I think it's going to be a...
