If the engineers at Ford thought they would sell more Ecoboost they are bigger idiots than I thought! Even with all the first year issues folks want that Hybrid.

I so agree. when gas is so expensive what were they thinking. BUT then again maybe they new they just couldn't build many hybrids as they cant get the parts. So build the gas ones they can get the parts for and hope they all sell.

The difference in price from 2022 to 2023 $1,270.00. Not bad really!

I have to wonder if it's better to have an order in at a smaller dealer that got all of their 22 orders built - or be one of 650 at a place that had 80-100 22s that never got built. Just a genuine thinking out loud.

I have the first MY23 order with a dealer that only had 20 MY22 orders. But all 20 got scheduled. I figure I am just as well off being first with this dealer than I would be number 200 at LM. I still expect it could take a year to get my truck (due to a lost of constrained features), but I think it will get scheduled. Plus I will have local dealer support and not have to worry about additional shipping costs.

Originally really wanted a 22 hybrid but missed ordering one by a few days, so I planned to wait to order a 23. Along came Granger Ford with their $3k off MSRP for EB Mavs and I decided that was too good a deal to pass up. Ordered a 22 A51 EB XLT FWD initially, then changed it to AWD out of concern for needing that for winter driving. As time passed and I read post after post here and did more research, I realized I didn't need AWD.
I loathe brown as a fabric/paint color which was one of the reasons I chose the XLT trim, though there are options on the Lariat trim I really wanted. In Aug I was able to test drive a Lariat EB AWD. I found I really liked the interior and decided if my order got rolled to 23, I would order a FWD Lariat EB. I could step up a trim level, but offset the cost difference by choosing FWD. Submitted my rollover order for the same and found out Ford is no longer offering a Lariat EB FWD, which is how I ended up ordering a 23 hybrid Lariat. The waiting continues...

+1. Difference between 2k and 4k is not really that much if you tow regularly. Both are marginal for anything serious.

Nah. 2k gets my two dirt bikes and alot of gear respectably.

4k gets me 2 bikes alot of gear and the ability to pull a nice pop-up or small camping trailer.

That's a pretty solid change in capability and even if you max payload on both the AWD alone makes a huge difference in comfort doing so.

Yeah, I agree. I put in a pre order there in July but called them early Thursday morning and cancelled. I ordered at a mid size dealer near me with strong reviews about them honoring MSRP on their orders. Going with Tim had pluses and minuses and it just made more sense to deal with someone reputable close to home. I do really like Tim and there would be comfort in knowing there would be no games played. I do have a 22 vin number for an eco, so that made my decision easier. If I didn't have that, I'm not sure what I would have done.

The poll results are pretty daunting, pretty much the exact opposite of Ford’s planned production ratio. Methinks this won’t end well for us hybrid folks…

I ordered a Hybrid Lariat with the Black Appearance Package and after seeing all of this information with the constraints list I'm convinced my truck is never coming. I'm heavily considering changing to an Ecoboost and hope for the best even though that's not what I want.

Ordered an xlt EB this morning; the only package I added was the luxury. There was a 7kmi black hybrid sitting on the lot for just under 45k… dealer said they had only put in 30 orders so far.
